Another game against a top 8 rival, I started another thread saying the next 6 games would define our season well we have won the first two and from the next four I would bite your hand off for 2 wins a draw and a lose... given that our best two chances of wins are the two home games starting with Bristol City.

I was quite confident about this game until I saw there recent record against us winning there last four games visits to Craven Cottage!!

looking at Bristols results I honestly can’t make them out they have 3-0 defeats against teams you wouldn’t expect and then 5-2 victories thrown in there. Afobe is injured which is a plus for us and Kalas who we know well is 50/50.

If fit Bobby Reid plays for me, Kamara is hopefully fit but Knockeart is a quality replacement... for me if all fit it’s the same team as Swansea other than Reid for Onamah... though if Reed is fit I could see him coming in for StefJo

Anyway four games that could define the season starts here... for anyone going please please join the applause for Afobe after 2 mins

Another big game today against what has been referred to as a bogie team.
I saw our last game against them in one of my rare visits, we lost and lost badly.
Today is another day and we should gather all the points.
Scottie again wasn't too revealing regarding injuries other than those long term, but we will know come 2pm.
I'll be listening to JG and very much hope he will be shouting with joy, we are so lucky to have him with us at FFC, along with Jamie.
COYW's

3 cards issued very late on following the penalty that wasn't given.
Although not at our best 1st half we were good in the 2nd, the result a poor reflection of the game.
Bugger, move on.

Let's hope that's the last time we have Jeremy Simpson as Ref. At half time he was being booed off and 'You don't know what you're doing' sung at him. Scott Parker was fuming and had words with him in the center circle, but Simpson got even worse in the second half, culminating in the penalty decision.

Scott Parker has been sussed out, tippy-tappy football at the back getting nowhere fast, opposition managers just rub their hands, hit us on the break down the right because Knockaert isn't going to track back to help Odoi, then cross it over to the left side where inevitably Bryan has gone missing and Ream is overloaded or flat footed.
And someone tell me what is the point of Onomah, what does he do ?

We need to take stock here, we sit 3rd in the most competitive league in England/Europe/World with less than half the season played. We are actually doing pretty good and yes some teams have managed to get us on the break, as we have to others. We also need some refs doing what they are supposed to do, perhaps time has come where the EFL can sub them too.
As for Onomah, I've no idea, he was seldom mentioned in GJ commentary yesterday and when he was there was nothing of note. If Abu had been fully fit he would have started, we also miss Reid, Reed and Arter. Kebano was a good addition yesterday and very unlucky.
Next up Preston and it's Live on Sky.
