Another point... There are hardcore Labour and Conservative voters, they’re like machines, the cross goes into the red or blue candidate without any thought, these people don’t decide elections, their minds cannot be changed.

I am a typical floater voter, my wife is too, I have zero allegiance to any party. My best mates dad is a labour councillor and he has been a Labour voter all his life but he voted Brexit.

All three of us detest Corbyn and are voting Conservative, my job gets me meeting strangers daily, politics is the number one subject to pop up and I guarantee you it’s 9/10 who genuinely feel the same as me.

Yes I’m middle England which probably reflects the demographic vote for Brexit and Conservative but I really can’t tell you how much I’ve gone from floater voter to feeling like leaving the country if Corbyn gets in

interestingly ristac, 9/10 of the people I meet hate corbyn too ... but 9/10 hate Johnson as well. I’ve spoken to 3 parents at kids football this morning. No-one knew which way they were going to vote. It’s amazing how many ‘undecideds’ there are.

I've got an uncle in Taunton and, like all the family, has been a lifelong labour voter. "I feel that if I were ever to vote Conservative, my hand would drop off" was what he said. This time around, after some sixty odd years, he voted Tory. He now w*nks with his other hand.

Was reading today, Conservatives would have a 25-35 seat margin if the undecided don’t bother voting. If they ALL voted labour it would be a hung parliament

After posting that, I asked myself - would I really? And the answer is yes. I think I will.

Because I don’t think people who believed the lies were conned. Maybe in 2016 some were, but we’ve had over 3 years of debate since and if people still vote for the Tories, knowing that means Brexit, despite the lies of Johnson and co being obvious, then that’s not because they are stupid or thick (Chesh, you’re the exception that proves the rule here ;) ) it’s because they want it. So they can have it. I’ll be alright jack.

financially I’m also in the demographic that should vote Tory, but can’t bring myself to because, bluntly, they’re typically self-centred not very nice people. Sweeping stereotype, but they’re an elite who come from wealth and all they want to do is protect that. If you have any social conscience it’s hard to vote for them and sleep comfortably.

But if they get in, any negative impact from brexit will hit others harder than it hits me. I’m not losing sleep for me or them.

I’m in a labour marginal seat. I haven’t decided yet. I don’t think there is a party that deserves my vote.

You don’t know that. These civil servants spend their careers serving governments they don’t agree with, its par for the course. This is more likely triggered by being leant on to lie and deciding they couldn’t. It’s the end of her career so if she did it because she’s a Remainer she’s a bloody committed one.
Read your own post, she's ready for retirement, will get a big pention and wanted to try help remain with a big drama story, well no fookers interested, 6 days till victory. <cheers>

And I believe most of the undecided will say they’re all as bad as one another and not bother voting unless they voted Brexit then I think they might vote Conservative as they’re sick of it all and don’t want another 6,12,18 months of it.

All the undecided are not going to vote Labour, it will be a split and majority not bothering. A lot of non voters say they’re undecided as they just want to get the canvasser off the door and they know they’ll get a lecture if they say I’m not bothering

The Times are reporting a plan for ultra moderate John McDonnell to take over if corbyn has a bad result, with the delightful and sensible Rebecca Wrong Daily as Shadow Chancellor. Then they’d look at their leadership structure and appoint a new leader at the end of 2020.... with Wrong Daily the favourite.

I’m excited.
Replacing one terrorist supporting **** with another one <doh> yes they sure get it WRONG DAILY.
