rafa built the only side weve ever had that can defend and left us in good shape … it isn't ever pretty . but I thank him for what he's built here … he's laid solid foundations for the next manager to take over from.

yep and they are defo in the mix even now, but like the entire bottom half the next 4 games should give a clearer indication of who's really in the battle
Can't blame Rafa for the opinions of Chelsea fans. Rafa won the Championship. That could be invaluable to Everton. If they go down they could easily not come back.

Well, it’s a view. Not one I share, as I think he did a very good job in his latest job at Newcastle given his budget of relative buttons. It’s not going to happen anyway, so it’s likely moot.
