I honestly believe we are past anything no matter who comes in we really need a shed load of money just to bring some better hungry players in who really want to do well and grow with Sunderland

Spending is definitely needed it's just these rumours of a dressing room split, which may or may not be about Ross, make me think do we need a tough nut as manager. It's also possible that Parkinson is working them harder in training and they don't like it.

If not Di Canio I'd say Pearson is in a similar mould, they're both bonkers in an aggressive way.

Pearson would be better as Paulo is already looked on as a failure but we couldn't afford him.

I dunno what our money situation is tbh, there's cash been pumped in but who knows what it's allocated for. Not a new manager you'd imagine. I don't think Pearson would be especially expensive though he's a bit of a forgotten man.

We will certainly find out in January mate.

Anyone that places ross in the best 3 managers in the past decade must believe that bowyer and wilder should be manager of either liverpool or man city, actually no maybe barca and real Madrid.

Anyone that can't see the job that Ross did must not know anything about football.

I'll tell you what I saw.

A manager with no League One experience who let his boss buy ****e players over him, didn't do enough fitness work, used bizarre tactics that didn't play to the team's strengths and couldn't get promotion if his life depended on it.

Just because PP is truly dreadful it doesn't necessarily follow that JR was a footballing genius.

Yeah, I saw some of that too. I also saw him pick up a club with not even a full squad of players, build it up, get us to a cup final, and still get us nearly promoted.
You're right, he didn't have the right players, and that is the reason we didn't get promoted, but if you look at where he started and where he finished last season, he's achieved more than any other manager in the last 10 years, apart from perhaps Poyet.
