When Gomez went out last season we at least had cover for him
When Alisson went out this season we at least had cover for him
We don't have cover for defensive mid and Klopp's experiment with Lallana there is a ****ing nightmare that will come to fruition

You do realize Fabinho didn't start consistently until December. We played a double pivot 4231 to accommodate him until the last 10 games when he could hold on his own in a 433. Don't make it out like we were struggling big time before his arrival. Gini and Hendo have both shown they are just as capable to cover for a six to eight week period. He is a big loss but not as much as losing any of the front 3.

I'm not so worried about home games but am a little concerned with away where we need to dig in and win the ball. No need to panic here but he is a big loss.

I'd play Joe at DM. He's quick, good tackler, good control. Or Joe at RB with Trent at DM. There are options. As you say, Lallana isn't one of them. And Milner and Hendo can only play together in a four man midfield (or 5), not 3. It just doesn't work.

Away from home we have been playing a possession based game to tire the opponents in the first half then go for the kill in the second. One thing I like Klopp over Pep is his aility to adapt the team to situations. We have different ways of winning which is less predictale like City.

We have Brighton H ,Everton H, Bournemouth A, Watford H, Leicester A and Wolves H and Sheffield H. I am focusing on the league as I believe that is what we all want. I see two difficult games and the others are "winnable". If we cannot get through these games because of Fabinho, we can forget the title then.

We have to win it with the squad we have so dealing with injuries is part of the season, no panic from me here.

Interesting idea to play Gomez in there, he's good on the ball and it could work.

Klopp on Fabinho: "We have to find solutions. We are not the only team with injured players and that's what we have to deal with, and we will."

Pep on Laporte: "Maybe in December we are going to start to think about it – maybe. But we could not invest in this situation in the summer."

Sorry to be negative, but there's at least four there. Everton is a derby game, Leicester are the form team in the league, Wolves were one of the best teams to play at Anfield last season, and have already beaten City away: and Sheff united are a bloody good side. We normally do well in December, though we're often out of the LC by now and aren't playing in some pointless exhibition in another continent. December will be hard: and we're usually cack in January. Maybe we need to buy/loan people then? And NOT let people out on loan - absolutely no point letting Brewster out on loan, for instance, with the lack of depth in that squad.

Yeah all good teams and I agree on your assessment of them but I don't think losing Fabinho kills us in these games but he has been at times something special in the middle of the park, whoever comes in for him really has to step up.

Tell you what I have noticed about Fab’s injury which is irking me
On Thursday BBC tried to blame Lovren (?) for falling onto Fab
Then today they are saying he fell awkwardly

from what I recall Lorenzo (?) was doing what Napoli we’re doing all night and exaggerating everything and he stumbled a ridiculous amount of times then ‘fell’ into Fab

was it just me that saw that ?
