In 2017 they were prepared to ignore the lunacy of the referendum result and implement it anyway. Now, common sense and pragmatism prevail.

They were prepared to honour the referendum and Leave. Now, it's - forget honour, let's manufacture a referendum where the choice is between a **** deal that none of the current shadow cabinet would champion, or Remain.

They're about as far behind now as they were last time. Three weeks is a long time.
Except back then Jezza was new and May was as stiff as an old board. Now he is up against Boris not to forget that Corbyn is unelectable.

There was no honour in the referendum campaign and, now that it seems highly likely that the result was Russian-influenced, it's entirely reasonable to say that 'the people' should be asked again after four years of reflection.

I don’t get why some people are so desperate to put the country through another referendum? It’s just remainers that cannot accept the result. The huge majority of the country and business want to move on now.

If that were true then no harm in voting in it. You’ll win at a canter.

In the security report that Johnson won't publish.

So, since you're ITK, what was the nature of the influence?

Let me guess. You don't know.

Labour are trying to cheat their way out of the referendum result, and the public know that, which is why Corbyn is tanking in the polls. There won't be a Labour revival in the next 3 weeks because of Corbyn's U turn on Brexit

But why? We had a referendum and we voted to leave. It said on that card that every home got through their door, that the result would be honoured.
You can’t just say ‘you got it wrong vote again’? Best thing to do is leave and have another referendum in 40 years.

Nobody is ITK. We could all be ITK. Surely it’s in all our interests that we know the truth.

We did get it wrong but you can’t keep burying your head in the sand and hoping this Russia thing goes away but that’s just one thing. The Leave campaign has been proven to be a load of nonsense and the vote would’ve been declared void legally if this were a binding referendum. We’re binding ourselves into something that would’ve been thrown out if we were bound to it. That’s mental. North Korea would consider it a bit of a mockery.

Correct, I don't know the nature of the influence. Why won't Johnson's controllers release the report, would you say?

I'd prefer the report was out. But Labour cannot base its Brexit policy on what it doesn't know, as Strolls suggests.

If there was a smoking gun in there, there would be huge pressure to publish. Even Grieve just argues it contains "information". Great.
