I thought the ground was ace. Stick a lid on it and it would be a right cauldron. You are right about the quality of footballl though, did South American football no favours at all. Compare that to the quality we see in England at the moment and it makes you wonder how on earth brazil and Argentina are forces in world football.
Saying that, if I were a footballer, I’d be over there in a shot to do a couple of years just for the experience, followed by a year in turkey and a year in Russia - a sort of bush tucker trial of world football. Character building.
