Not sure why I know the answer to this but I do.

The owner isnt required by law to pick up the ****e, but as guide dogs go to the toilet on command, they can tell where the ****e us and pick it up.

However.........this is ok if you're partially sighted, but if you're totally blind your attempt might be... erm, a bit cack-handed?
Dog nappies is the obvious answer, someone needs to take this to Dragons' Den.

 

Train the ****ers to clean it up themselves, they are intelligent these dogs yeah?

 

Notwithstanding their intelligence, I see some rather compelling physical impediments to this suggestion.

Just to add not all guide dog users are completely blind.

Others have a great sense of smell too

 

They're not called guide dogs anymore, they're assistance dogs.

It's not yet been announced as to what gender they are...

 

They are but often referred to as assistance dogs has become the generic term covering various specialities .

Guide isn't outlawed / illegal, they are often still referred to as guide dogs, but the official term is assistance dogs because they serve a lot more purposes now than just guiding the blind or partially sighted.

 

I know hence the link in my post though what i should have said is that the Charity is still Guide Dogs . Friend of the family , she is a Quadraplegic , has an assistance dog .
