All Managers jobs go tits up at some point - you hire them for what they might achieve before that happens.

I actually think that Mourinho will be a good fit with Spurs - if there is a lack of transfer funds I don't think that will phase him. When he spent a lot it was because the clubs had it. He got Porto and Inter over achieving without breaking the bank and introduced young homegrown players. I think Real Madrid and Man Utd were the wrong fit for him - he prefers to have total control and he was never going to get that there. Levy will be going out of his way to make him happy and I think the players will be happy working under him.

So you think going to a club that has Levy as chairman is a good idea? <laugh>

The guys a huge control freak! Trust me, our owner was the same in his earlier days, hence why Jose was sacked, despite winning back to back PL titles and numerous other trophies.

I think they will have had the talk on funds available and Levy must have recognised he made mistakes with Pochettino. I suspect he was pissed off that when he actually loosened the purse strings a bit they actually got worse.

Yup all managers jobs go tits up....that’s why new managers com in...Piskie still not listening?

Remind him of how Wengers job went tits up after decades and some pots therefore it’s a moot point he’s trying to cling onto in the hope of claiming some kind of victory when Jose leaves after a few years...something we are all aware of and accept.

Btw I call you right on your analysis...he did wonders at Porto, first stint at Chelsea and Inter. 2nd stint at Chelsea was a disaster because he was in charge of ****s who had got too big for their boots and United fans are spoilt from Fergies success, they might not like admitting it but they are. They are really struggling to adjust to the reality of their status nowadays....but hindsight is a good thing because it proved Jose right. I’ve not seen one United fan on here retract their negativity towards Jose and admit that he was right when he said getting that shower of **** to 2nd place was one of his biggest achievements as a manager, oh yeah and the 2 out of 3 pots since Fergies departure have come due to Jose.

I am dying to see Wenger take another managerial post, because I wanna see if he still has the minerals.
I dont know if Bayern would be the best test though.
Winning the Bundesliga with Bayern is like winning the SPL with Celtic....its expected, and you are only ever going to face rivalry from one other team at best.
