Don't want Maureen. Never has the term "be careful what you wish for" been more true.

    What about the Ajax guy?

Ten Hag? He's ruled out leaving Ajax this season.

The impending appointment of Mourinho leaves me feeling much like I did 21 years ago, when we appointed The Bloke in the Coat.

He's a twat who belongs elsewhere with his boring ****ing football.

I'll just have to wait the bastard out. It shouldn't take too long for him to be found out and sacked.

Best hope that reported clause to get 20% off Lo Celso's fee if we sign him in January exists, eh?

People are going to churn this out all the time because they are in love with Poch

I didn’t want Poch to go but I understand why

And people having a pop at a manager who has won more than our club has in half a century is laughable stuff.

About time this Club focused on a trophy winner and not someone else who needs to advance their own personal CV.

I’d like to see ****ers like Eriksen thinking they are getting a sniff of first team football under Jose with that stinking attitude he showed in a Poch team

    From Ozil's book:
I’ve had enough now. ‘What do you actually want from me?’ I snap back at him.

‘I want you to play as well as you can,’ Mourinho yells. ‘I want you to go into tackles like a man. Do you know what it looks like when you tackle? No? Let me show you.’

Mourinho stands on tiptoes, thrusts his arms down by his sides, purses his lips and minces around the dressing room. ‘That’s how you tackle. Ooh, I mustn’t get hurt. And absolutely mustn’t get dirty,’ he shouts while repeating his Ozil tackle parody.

‘If you’re so great, why don’t you get out there and play yourself?’ I scream now, ripping off my jersey and hurling it at his feet. ‘Here. Put it on. Off you go.’

Mourinho just laughs spitefully. ‘Oh, are you giving up now?’ he asks. ‘What a coward,’ he says harshly, moving to within just a few centimetres of me. ‘What do you want? To crawl under a nice, warm shower? Shampoo your hair? Be on your own? Or do you want to show your team-mates, the fans out there and me what you’re capable of?’

‘Do you know what, Mesut? Cry if you like! Sob away! You’re such a baby. Go and take a shower. We don’t need you.’

It's going to be especially awkward for me as I was someone who happily sung the "**** off Mourinho, we've got Paulinho!" and "Jose, you're a ****, Jose, Jose you're a ****!" songs.

Now I'm gonna have to get used to singing "Jo-se Mourinho! Jo-se Mourinho!" <laugh>

(should he be appointed that is).

Not going to lie, this appointment is extremely surprising. I did not see you ever appointing Mourinho. He goes against everything you represent. Then again, football is a funny old game.

Who knows, he could perform better than you think.

Never went to the lane from 1993 until 2004 due to money and having young kids but followed us avidly on TV, radio and the net...apart from the bloke in a coat era...used to look up the scores but found it tedious beyond belief to watch us on TV or listen on the radio.
That's my fear re Maureen....so ffs Levy lesrn the lesson...

I really don't see him having that success ahead of him. He looked ****ing clueless at the end of his time at United and all he was doing was throwing players under the bus to try and protect his own reputation. A decade ago, he was a cocky ****ing **** but back then, he was a winner.

I've always disliked him but had to respect his success. Nowadays, I find that I can just concentrate on disliking him.

Something had to be done. Unhappy manager, unhappy players, unhappy chairman. A divided Spurs fan base.
How come Levy(?) is talking with Maureen already? So Levy knew of the sacking a while ago? Please not Josie Posie!
I would like to see Rafa as a caretaker until the end of the season, then see who is available.

In fairness to Jose, he did say getting second with Utd a couple seasons back was his biggest success. At the time I took that as him being sarcastic but maybe there was an element of truth. I think he had a defence of Jones, Smalling and Young that season whilst we all knew there was beef with Pogba (who I think is a bigger cancer to Utd than Jose was).

The one thing I'll look forward to Jose doing - which touches on what Spurly says - is he'll stick a rocket up the arses of some of these idiots who've been slacking. So many have cost Poch his job and it's about time we get a real **** in there to give them a shake.

He's not a Spurs manager and he looks burned out to me. If we were getting the Mourinho who went to Inter or on to Real Madrid, then I'd have to consider that we'd got a top manager (despite the sometimes unattractive football).

Of late, he looks like his football's from a different century and some of the stuff United played under him was utterly desperate.

We should be able to do better but Levy's just not very good at picking managers and never gets 2 right consecutively.

I was honestly convinced that, if you sacked Poch, he'd be replaced with someone like Nagelsmann, Ragnick, Ancelotti, Marco Rose, Favre...

Getting rid of him and then replacing him with Mourinho seems totally counterintuitive. He could end up being a bigger hit than many expect, but on the surface of it, it seems like a reactionary, horrible decision. He isn't someone that will unite your fanbase either.

He was right when he said that it was a miracle getting that United squad to finish 2nd...said it was one of his biggest achievements...people laughed at him. He was right because they are ****e as they have proven since. He also focused on winning the Europa as a means to getting into the CL and he made sure they got over that line.

He’s still a Winner with a winning mentality...he just doesn’t like those around him that can’t live up to his standards that’s why I’m intrigued to see how he deals with our squad. He wanted a Defender but didn’t get him...they gave Ole that money instead to buy Mcguire. He does know what he’s talking about but the bandwagon was well into 5th gear and his days were numbered. As for the pragmatic football, I’ll be honest...pretty football hasn’t really got us anywhere has it? the last year of football has been dire as anything I have seen at Spurs in a long time.
