I wonder what’s happened . It’s not really that long ago that we raved about how refreshing it was that we had Safc players running through walls , busting a gut for the club , and jumping off cliffs for the manager. All of a sudden we go back to who actually gives a sh*t ?
That whole notion was all talk spun by ross and donald. We never had such players while ross was here. We all wanted to think we had them and sd played to that dynamic

Massive clear outs rarely work.
Besides we dont have the funds to do it.
I think maybe safc is too big a job for the likes of PP.
There is talent/ability in the squad we just dont have the coaching smarts to do much with it.
I keep harking back to what bowyer took on 18 months ago or so.
A rookie manager, an owner disenchanted with the club, low crowds and a very very thin squad. Freebies, loans and good coaching got them promoted and even now doing very well ( considering ) in the c'ship.
We have employed a yes man with a passable record in the lower echelons. Journeyman manager perfectly suits him as it does/did grayson.
Frighteningly things wont improve much I fear. Donald is never going to do much about PP no matter how abysmal things get. He fannied around with ross for way too long.Getting rid of PP would take too big a chunk out of our new money besides.
Our ownership and future are shrouded in so much secrecy to be at best opaque.
Frankly it's a mess and Donald retreating into his shell and allowing methven to spruik about bust lifts and infrastructure is just pouring oil on the fire.
Agree with you on all above.

they need to watch a video of the Tranmere game and early last season and play that way, surely they can turn it around.

Remember me dad saying tail end of last season when Ross, and pretty much Ross only, was getting all the stick for the draws and it's all his fault etc. He was constantly saying our players just aren't good enough and this is what he's got to work with as our recruitment team haven't got a clue.
Brought it up on SMB a few times and got pelters, with them saying it was all down to Ross. Seems the penny has dropped.

I haven't seen any of the game but the bottom line is we have been turned over by a struggling league 2 team by 3 goals. Our crowds now have significantly dipped. We have players who either are not good enough or don't want to be here. We have a manager who, if we are all honest" simply isn't up to reviving this once great club. In my 55 years of supporting this club, this is without doubt the lowest ebb. But once all these players, managers, directors, owners have long gone, we will still be here. I will always support the shirt, but I'm currently ashamed of those who are playing in it.

That's it in a nutshell mate. I think we're only a couple of bad performances away from "You're not fit to wear the shirt" rearing it's head. Our fans have been extremely patient with this lot, They can stomach players just not being good enough, but they can't abide players not putting the effort in, which has been the case in the last 3 games. These players need to be removed, as they're upsetting the applecart.

Parky just came out & said

"We've got to come out fighting "

There is no fight

No leadership no ****ing nothing

I wonder if summat has gan on behind the scenes with the yanks

I think there's a problem with some of the players attitudes mate. Those in the Ross clan have stopped playing. Wouldn't surprise me to hear that the dressing room was divided.

I would not want to get rid of any of them unless we had a suitable replacement that was going to be an improvement , unfortunately that should not be as difficult as it may seem on current performance levels . I agree it is the wrong time to be making wholesale changes but the level of performance over recent weeks indicates a major problem , could it be the Jack Ross sacking as he was very popular with the players . Whatever it is we need to react quickly or it is going to be a long hard winter , better to do something rather than sitting on our hands and hoping things improve . You quote Charlton last year so it shows what can be achieved

Yes that was my original point question being why has it gone , what’s switched the players off .

As someone has mentioned, I think some of the players were close to Ross, and haven't taken too kindly to his dismissal. These players may well join him in January, if he lands either the Hearts or Hibs job.
More than ever, we need players who want to sweat blood for this club. These petulant twats we don't need.

I'm a volunteer to drive the coach.

Not ashamed, disgusted.

Where do we go from here , does the manager have a plan as it appears that he has totally lost the dressing room . The players with few exceptions are going through the motions to the point it’s disgusting , it has been obvious that a lot of them are not up to the standard but at least they put in the effort , now that has gone we are in for a long hard winter . What team can he put out against Coventry that will be a difficult game , this game could be a watershed for the club particularly if things go badly , the fans are on the point of turning and despite Phil Parkinson only been here a short while he has presided on the worst run of form we have had in this division . Please tell me I’m over reacting as the decline I find to be unbelievable .
