I’m in Anlaby and used the Gas Company. Big firm who do lots of council stuff, so they’re big enough to deal with any problems and I found them really good and good value when we did full system replacement and extra rads too.
Used them for other smaller jobs too after that.

Worcester Bosch boiler but I assume they do others
The ****est boiler in existence

Bloke who does my plumbing rates both but has a Worcester Bosch himself . Had one fitted myself a couple of months ago on that basis.
Anyone on certain benefits with a faulty boiler can get one fitted at a vastly reduced price in some areas under a government scheme. Was anyone with a boiler over a certain age or one with poor efficiency but now restricted to some benefits, DLA, PIP and a few others.

You will wait at least 12 weeks for a a call and survey ,told yesterday and a good chance of a out of town installer On top of this a few want £250 up front towards the boiler Not much good if you a senior with a bust boiler in the middle of winter.

I wish I'd have gone for either of those
Got an Ideal Logic which ain't bad but rather have gone the others

Not what I found to be fair. And it is a lot, lot less than you would pay anywhere else for a boiler. Luckily it was in summer. Less than 6 weeks from applying to installation. May have been lucky. Because of some extra pipe work that had to be done because of some of the old stuff not being up to modern requirements would have been about £2,400 in total from quotes from elsewhere. Cost me £323, of which part was for extras. No complaints here.
