Domus Clamantium
Corpulent Caledonian Masturbator ( or words to that effect ).

Whilst our resident statos battle it out to give us more Political spin on the numbers available - than we'll all get before the General election, I thought I'd put in a bit of mischief into the equation.

If one or more people hated you --- and I mean REALLY, REALLY HATED you - would you give it ANY consideration to set foot in their home - or be an employee for any of them ?

If any of these people who REALLY, REALLY HATE you, have hurled some spiteful insults, and questioned your integrity, would you really want to share any time with them -- as if none of the vitriol ever existed ? -- especially if you probably didn't need anything from them.

...............So - here's a thought ------------ what if Mr. Evans has an agenda to relegate The Gills ?

He wouldn't be the first person to infiltrate an organisation - to bring it down. I could imagine that he is not so thick-skinned as to merely accept the diatribe from a large section of Gills fans for the exploits by Evans when managing Crawley and Rotherham against The Gills. The sort of hurtful words that Gills fans used against Evans, are not easily forgotten. Indeed - didn't he get a group of fans arrested for racism ? Wasn't there a threat of litigation against the Club ? He might be old, grey, fat, ugly ( and Scottish ) - but I doubt that he is stupid ( nor insensitive. ) (( and I have no desire to dwell on his sexual preferences ))

More than once in my life, I have used tactics that required a certain compromise of principles - to place myself in a position where I could exact revenge (in the name of justice ). So, what if Mr.Evans has decided to punish Gills fans by deliberately getting us relegated this season ------ it wouldn't greatly affect his CV for his next job........... of course he could prove me wrong (( even if I am seldom not alwaysright )).

I don't believe he will get us relegated for one simple reason....it's the worst league in many a decade. I'd already raised the differences before between this league and that of the league Martin Allen was in.

In fact I would go as strongly to say, that to get us relegated from this league would be one of gross incompetence.

There is only three relegations instead of the usual four. Even Evans couldn't beat Bury to the drop. Bolton started on a minus 12, and still are -2. And Southend leak more goals, than the cabbage farmer can sell cabbages this time of year. So that leaves one place to drop, up for grabs. No way, no way at all is Evans that negligent <whistle>

" gross incomptence" -- did you see O'gilvie's backpass ?
"one place to drop .... No way, no way" -- Wycombe 3 Gillingham 0 ( never say never )

Is this the height our our ambition ( crossing everything in the hope that we don't fail )
