And a full back ffs![]()
Madrid want to buy sterling for 70m plus bale![]()
I wouldn't mind City losing Sterling, and money is no object to them,so getting 70m more isn't going to give them options they didn't already have.
Bale could go back being a LB. This would leave them a few quid over for drugs and prossies.Pep could use that money to take his spending on defenders up to £450m
Throw in another fullback on top and he's reached half a billion
Funny you should mention drugs. There's currently a theory on one of the Everton fan sites trying to explain how fit our players are - doping apparently.Bale could go back being a LB. This would leave them a few quid over for drugs and prossies.

Werner rumour has been sticking around for a while now. I still think he would be a good buy for us.
Jones and Brewster are ready now imo. Elliott is a way off but what's good about him is he plays like he belongs there, no fear, no intimidation so his future looks good. Williams and Hoevet too aren't far off.If you look at the players who will leave in the summer; Lallana and Milner (possibly), it is clear that we will need to add in both midfield and the forward slots. We also need full backs for both sides - kids are kids, we need reliable alternatives to TAA and Robbo so they’re not worn out and injured.
If Lovren goes we need another CB.
That’s a pretty penny tbh, can only see all of this happening if someone like Salah is sold for 150m+
As for the kids who could step up? Personally, i don’t think that many, if any will next season - it’s possibly a season too early! Jones, Elliott and Brewster could all step up during the rest of this season ....and I think this is what Klopp wants but I’m not so sure. We will see soon enough.
I've been a little disappointed in Brewster when he has been given the chance, though he's only just breaking in and needs time, obviously.Jones and Brewster are ready now imo. I get the impression Jones has vaulted above Brewster in terms of being considered for first team game time.I've been a little disappointed in Brewster when he has been given the chance, though he's only just breaking in and needs time, obviously.
I've been more impressed by Jones - I think he's worth taking a risk on. I think he'll only be 19 early next year, so plenty of time - but he does look like a lad who can make the step up.
I agree with you about both players. Jones is ready now. He's matured quite a bit in a year and looks very composed on the ball. Brewster is a bit star struck I think and while his finishing hasn't been there, his positioning and reading of the game has been very good.I've been a little disappointed in Brewster when he has been given the chance, though he's only just breaking in and needs time, obviously.
