Oh right lol ... So not valley's based like myself where we take the brunt of tory hate.
Best Rugby tour I ever went on back in the day was Builth Wells. They did have a coal industry and a proud education tradition then, as well as a brilliant rugby team. Happy memories, even losing in the Rugby to them was palatable, given it was a joy to watch so many great players perform.

Dunno about the others but think you're wrong with Stoke where i live, Labour lost one of the 3 seats in 2017 and have a much reduced majority in the other 2, Brexit party may save Labour possibly by splitting leave vote but Labour are becoming hated round here.
Why is Stoke on Trent so hung up on Brexit ? According to the 2001 census it is one of the most homogenous cities in the UK. with 96% of the population being born in the UK. So the city doesn't really have to come to grips with immigration in the same way that eg. Leicester does. The other theme of taking back sovereignty doesn't wash - can you tell me one law originating from Brussels which has disadvantaged you personally ? Most Brexiteers, when challenged in this way, can't do it. The truth is that Britain has had more opt outs in the EU than any other country, and has also voted with the EU on 95% of all laws enacted there - this is the highest percentage for any EU country.

I think you will find that there is a high correlation across England for this, the less multi cultural the city, the more likely a majority voted leave.
Just as the parts of England who receive sums of up to £1000 per head through EU Structural and Investment Fund also largely voted to leave.
Remainers would probably argue that the former can be explained as more influenced by media leave rabidity due to cultural and social isolation. I have no idea how they would explain the latter - biting off your nose to spite your face comes to mind.
And then we have the farmers...........

I would really like to think that you posted it as it amused you that it is a parody account. Sadly, I suspect you think that really happened.
Swinson, by the way, Will support the Tories if government is hung after the election, and yet again, throw away all those supposed principles.

No she won't.
They care more about the EU. Jeremy Corbyn is weaker, any minority partner will dominate a Labour government.

Words of wishful thinking hey

Why would anyone who does not support the opposition think wishfully towards an opposition coalition? Or did you red blinkers flash at the slight knock at your beloved messiah?

We could have a friendly bet on that Welshie.
If Corbin is weak in any way, it would be because as the Labour Party is the biggest political party in Europe, it is indeed a very broad church, ranging from Blairites to Socialists, which he tries very hard to balance. His other possible weakness is that he is a very honest man, particularly about democratic processes, which has become quite a rarity in modern politics.
Oh and before you say it, the labour party has a strong history of rooting out Marxist entryism, but of course, you would know that, given you used to attend meetings with your dad.
Like you, I left the Labour Party. In my case because of Blair. I blame him for the current violent swing to the right of the Tory party. When Blair went to the centre right, the Tories moved equidistantly rightward as well.
Imagine chucking out of the party people like Ken Clarke, a man with a long history of honest political endeavour. Never liked his politics, but respected his integrity, unlike the chancers currently in cabinet.

Messiah.... No such thing but if you mean good people yes I like Jeremy because he shows empathy.......it's a very important trait...... He also didn't kneel for the false monarch and that also goes along way with a Welsh man like myself who also doesn't recognise the crown.

Stop dropping the welsh bomb lad, it's a little cringe worthy.

Proud of it unlike yourself....... By the way you don't half talk a load of bollox, did you get that trait whilst wishing you were English aristocratic pig sh, it

Random assertions about peoples pride, red flag waving, hates the monarchy, Anglophobe, misreads simple banter as personal attacks.

If people like you ran Wales I'd be ****ing ashamed and I am not afraid to say that.

Type it, then pause, read it first, consider what you're saying, think about how it will look, and then post it. You've just literally suggested that if you, and your ilk, were in charge of a country you would remove anyone who has a differing political opinion.

And mate, I show my pride in being Welsh. I don't interrupt every civil conversation with "well, as a welshman and therefore an expert" like some pretentious nonce with too much to prove. Toodle off fella.

Anybody know when the various parties are due to publish their election manifestos?

Just logged on to the Conservative website and nothing there except comments about how they will solve all our problems as long as we get Brexit done. On the Labour Party website i get this:

I am sick of the dumbing down of politics to "which party leader do you like most". I want to actually look at what each of them are promising to do first and how they are going to pay for that.
