I still think we need a top striker to take some of the pressure off Bowen. It would mean spending money but hopefully the owners will realise what they missed out on last year by not investing at the right time.

I think we have to be proactive and expect thew worst regrading Bowen and potentially Groswicki. I hope who ever it is, is already working overtime for finding replacements.

This is very much how I saw the game with Lopez and Irvine looking very comfortable in their roles. I'd say that defenders and midfielders are looking to play the ball forward more quickly than in the past, so not seeing the prolonged interpassing in our own half. Explains both the possession stats and the greater regularity of finding space behind opposing defence.

Just a quick point re Henriksen .. did he not decline to play the first game of the season when he spoke with McCann .. for fear of jeopardising any potential move. I believe this was the point he alienated himself from McCanns thinking. I think if I recall correctly it was put down to his head not being in the right place at the time. It's obvious that as far as McCann is concerned you dont get a second chance.

Was it not a pre-season friendly?
 
Maybe McCann just thinks he doesn't need Henriksen, especially if he's away in Jan. The way things are looking now he might be right.
 
He needed to make changes in the midfield we was giving the ball away to easy, I was surprised Stewart got dropped but I'm sure he still has a big part to play. McCann seems to have found a better balance in there now.

Yes anybody who disagrees with you about anything is a thick **** , can't you even have a normal
discussion even if you disagree with somebody ?
