A joy to be there today. Particularly impressed with our composure out of possession. Defence in particular but also the whole team. High scoring Fulham never looked like scoring. Not seen Elder before but he really makes a positive difference.

So, do we keep the starting team with their recent results or get Bowen wider where he excels. I think I’d start him wide.

Seeing as you apparently went yesterday mate and bearing in mind rave reports about the performance I’m interested in who is making our midfield tick? According to some reports we are now counter attacking teams on the break so to speak? Assuming we are not lumping it long, who is setting up the initial killer passes out wide of our of defence to turn the opposition and create the breaks?

Genuine question as not seen City live this season.

When the manager left Stewart out for the Forest game, I think many of us wondered who was going to tackle. I really like Stewart and feel he'll be back soon but Lopez was excellent yesterday (and previous away game I saw at Luton, he was excellent too). So much energy and very quick, he was brilliant in front of the back four yesterday and also has a lot of self belief on the ball. Also playing Irvine deeper where he looks more composed has helped, and Toral is a very good number 10 although less impact yesterday. The other thing is that McCann has been accused of not having a plan B but in fact I think the team are playing quite differently from early in the season - less high pressing, more sitting and hitting teams on the break which suits us. Yet to see if the midfield can dominate at home, where harder to sit back, but believe me, Lopez is the real deal!

Engine room important mate.

Real deal or not three wins on the spin is encouraging.
