Boris has to drop his excellent deal. How can he possibly do that! It's so excellent
it's not a good deal. The only reason Tories voted for it was because they may have lost Brexit if they didn't. Now it's a different story.

Farage has given a deadline to Boris of Nov 14th to have a leave alliance or he will field candidates in every constituency. The Tories won't like that. apparently Nige says many leave Tories still don't like Boris deal as it's not Brexit (Mrs May's deal). He thinks Boris is deluded if thinks he will win old Labour seats.... It won't happen.

This is politics at its most interesting!

Nationalisation without compensation, banning very wealthy people (banning of billionaires per Russell- Moyles), anti-business, anti-capitalist etc

Have a read of these:

https://www.marxist.com/marxism-in-the-labour-party.htm

A whole lot of hyperbole in the Reuters article and a whole lot of projection in the Marxist.com (really?) piece.

Some renationalisation of natural monopolies and some rebalancing of the tax system is all we're talking about.

These policies are popular, Goldie. Nothing to be scared of.

mmm that throws a spanner in the works. My only worry was something like this. Hopefully its just a load of hot air and a deal will be sorted.
Saying all this Nigel was spot on in his speech. He didn't knock Limps (only labour a bit), most attack was on Tories. Came across statesman like. Boris won't change his deal, never.

This is not Marxism Goldie - it is simply a return to the kind of Keynesian mixed economy of the 1960s. State ownership of the means of production is only justified within Marxist theory if it is a transitory phase towards either direct worker ownership, or ownership by the Commune - hence the word Communism as opposed to Statism. Nationalization is not an end in itself. Western socialism has always been about harnessing Capitalism for the public good, and the present Labour Party falls into that tradition - real Marxism looks different.

It's an excellent deal, are you telling me you think Boris is misleading people :1980_boogie_down:
You show me one post where I said it was a good deal? Better than mays but clause 17 has always been a problem. Just because Boris says it's good doesn't mean it is. Its like Corbyn say he doesn't have a problem with jews when we all know he does.

Do you not reckon Boris will change it? Genuine question ellers. I wouldnt put anything past him

I think you misunderstand, Boris says it is an excellent deal. You don't think it's good so would you agree or disagree that Boris is misleading people or that you're wrong. Also can you post some relevant quotes from Corbyn strictly stating that he has a problem with Jews.

The right wing media has done a job on you, Corbyn has an issue about Palestine, if you think what's going on there is ok ... well wow

I could post some quotes from Boris on how he describes burka wearing muslim women or black people. Cant find any quotes from Corbyn about the jews. To be honest I dont have a problem with what Boris said and nor do I have a problem with what Corbyn has never said.

He wants Brexit done so will do what he can to achieve this.
point 2 on Jezza and Jews.
Has Harvey Weinstein ever said he abused women? Just because Jezza hasn't said he has a problem doesn't mean he hasn't. It doesn't always come from the horses mouth. No smoke without fire. When distinguished Labour MP's leave because they say he has a problem and the Jewish council stop the funding and an inside investigation on TV says it's rife.... You have to put 2 and 2 together sometimes (unless you are Diane Abbott).
