    If it’s a loan, just call it a loan. An investment to me is the purchase of shares. If they’re not buying shares, what are they getting for their money?

    Looks like the club is doing a share buyback to reduce its share capital from £1.6m to a round £1m. To do that you need to state that the company is solvent. Is that to wipe out the £20m owed perhaps?
