Very interesting class 3 in Uttoxeter. Thomas Darby runs.

The race looks to have plenty of depth to it with First Flow and Summerville Boy (Black Op a good winner for connections today) both potentially top class over fences.

Samcro starts has chasing career at Down Royal too. Should be an informative day.

Have a feeling Samcro could be a totally different horse this season. I think he will win quite impressively tomorrow..

Black Sams Silver is a lovely looking grey who runs for FOB in the bumper. He to me was the best looking horse in the yard when I visited, and I think Biddestone Stud Syndicate have another classy horse on their hands.

I hope he wins tomorrow and I’ve had a dabble on him.

Newmarket 3.25 - Zack Mayo 33/1 e/w
Trainer had a winner and placed recently, but mainly Tom Marquand booked, very positive jockey booking. E/w play, and very hopefull of a good run.

Fransham 340 Wetherby, this is a meeting pam sly always targets, she has 2 runners today ,the above named the interesting one .Travels well and knows how to win ,at 12/1 value for ew backers.

Question of the day is - Do you go with the best horse on hurdles form, or the horse who is less likely to jump like a crab?

If its the former you'd be with Sam Spinner, if its the latter you would be with Ardlethen. I am in the latter group, I think the fences will be the undoing of Sam Spinner today, and if he does get outpaced, he will struggle to get back in it. I can't believe Sam Spinner is odds on today.

You said last time you would be looking to take him on at cramped odds. Lay him to your heart's content on Betfair <ok>

However, any novice chaser is entitled to miss a couple on chase debut. Ardlethen's form starting to look a bit dodgy after yesterday?

No point laying him, might as well back Ardlethen against him at bigger odds.

Nass has been to the yard and seen the horse and likes what he sees but apart from the trainer aspect I would be dismissing him readily for this on pedigree. In fact I make my selection JACK VALENTINE (7/1) in spite of the trainer. The form of this ones debut in a bumper in Ireland sets an extraordinarily high standard in a race like this. He has a worryingly long absence to overcome but if he is fit and ready he will take a lot of beating.

An interesting one down the bottom of the card at Down Royal is So Near So Farhh - decent on the flat over staying trips and if she takes to hurdles she could go well here at tasty odds.
