I hear we now have a ' Brexit Flextension'.
Neither of these are even proper words.
What a load of brucking frollocks.

The thing that annoys me most of all about the whole fiasco is Jeremy's complete ineptitude. And because of Momentum the MP's can't get rid of him and form a proper opposition. And he's getting worse, he's got absolutely no initiative, he's played a completely passive role in the whole debate, and now the Tories are even ahead in the ratings of trustworthiness on the NHS, which I believe is a first.
I think Jo Swinson is the best of the three main party leaders, and she's poor. This is sadly true.
Neil Kinnock and even Michael Foot were on the case far more than Jeremy.
And the other opposition parties aren't doing any better either.
Any theories about why The Daily Telegraph has decided to selectively leak the part of the Grenfell report which attacks the Fire Brigade?
The report doesn't blame them. It clears them of all blame. That was a selective leak by the Telegraph with a misleading headline. It does point out the decision-making by the senior fire chiefs who were slow to realise that the cladding was fuelling the fire, rather than containing it. It also completely exonerates the owner of the fridge-freezer which went on fire. He received death threats at the time and had to go into hiding. It's actually a very good report, and I believe there is more to come.Makes my blood boil to blame the fire brigade for loss of life - local authorities agreed to clad the building with insulation (flammable) they agreed to air gap behind Insulation (acts as chimney) they then allow plastic framed windows ( which melt when exposed to intense heat from flat fire ) . The stay put policy is the correct policy for flats that the council hasn’t turned into a death trap ffs ! But hay ho blame the men and women of the fire brigade that are running towards the inferno rather than the real culprits who Fuked it up -the architects and council building control
Radio reports I’ve listened to today are saying the fire brigades stay put policy are to blame for loss of life but I suppose that’s the media for youThe report doesn't blame them. What the report said was that the decision to change the stay put policy should have been made earlier. The stay put policy would have been the right one if fire safety regulations had been obeyed when Gren fell Tower was built, but practically every regulation had been broken, and it took the senior officers in charge too long to realise what was happening. This report doesn't apportion blame yet. The Telegraph's selective leak has changed the whole nature of the discussion, and you wonder why. It was released early to the bereaved families, but the Telegraph jumped the gun for reasons best known to itself.Radio reports I’ve listened to today are saying the fire brigades stay put policy are to blame for loss of life but I suppose that’s the media for you

A great deal of hindsight is being used to attack the fire brigade.
As far as I can see, the only fundamental mistake made at the actual time the tower was burning, was not to abandon the 'stay in your home' policy fast enough, when it was realised what effect that lethal cladding was having on the blaze.
I witnessed a small fire a few years ago. Something laughably trivial to describe now.
Somebody threw a cigarette into one of those big metal wheely bins in our factory car park. The thing caught fire and damaged several cars parked nearby.
People couldn't get to their cars to move them because waves of heat and smoke from that burning bin were too intense.
When the mess was cleared away later, the heat had cracked the concrete under the bin.
I watched that bin burn from a few yards away, and I'll admit the ferocity of it scared the sh*t out of me.
The only large fires I had ever seen before were some bonfires on Guy Fawkes nights. But this was much more fierce, and much more frightening because it was out of control, in the way that most bonfires never are. For a while we feared the cars nearby would explode, or the factory would catch fire.
The Grenfell fire must have been about ten million times bigger and more ferocious than that one wheely bin.
If that small bin fire was enough to scare me half to death, I cannot imagine what effect the Grenfell fire had on those people who were witnessing it, the people who were trapped in it, and the people who were trying to fight it - even if they were experienced fire fighters.
Out of control fire must be just about the most terrifying thing imaginable.
If the fire brigade is fair game for the Grenfell Inquiry to the dregree we have seen in the last few days, then the people responsible for passing that cladding as safe to use on the tower, and the people who should have seen to it that similar cladding was removed from all other residential blocks - which has still not been done yet - should be well and truly crucified by the Inquiry.
If they are not, the stink of a cover up will be overpowering, and those people who died will be betrayed all over again.
Apologising "For upset caused" is not a proper apology. She should apologise for being wrong.Baroness Lawrence has now apologised for accusing firepeople of being racist
