1.10 Millers Bank

In-form stable (3 winners from 5 last 14 days) does very well at this track. Millers Bank has an entry for a much stronger race (class 3) at Wetherby on saturday so must be held in some regard. This one likes to make all in his races so this course and a small field should suit very well.

1.40 Two Blondes

The best of these on the flat. Donald McCain has had 5 hurdlers in the money from 7 runs at Fakenham over the last 5 years. Wouldn't be put off by last run when unseating Brian Hughes. Can race prominently. Nice each way chance with this low weight against some older opponents.

2.40 Locker Room Talk

Could be difficult to catch from the front. Stables does well with its novice chasers this season and wouldn't be surprised if this very capable hurdler develops into a much better chaser this season

3.10 The Detainee

Backed this one at Exeter last time when a good 3rd at 14/1. Gave the impression a step up in trip could bring out more improvement. Stable in good form. Trainer's hurdler 24 times in the money from 39 runs at Fakenham over the last 5 years.

3.40 The Drone

Unexposed over fences with chase debut better than finishing position may suggest. Won well 2 times over hurdles in the spring and looks to
have the scope for more progress over fences now. Could complete a double for Alex Hales today.

Taunton

1:30 Our Three Sons

Could bounce back on 2nd run after a wind surgery for in form stable. Well handicapped now. Very useful hurdles form in the summer of 2017.

2.00 The Lion Man

Possibly needed last run after a break. On last winning mark and the only one in the field with winning form over 3 m. Stable had some runners recently that ran better than odds had suggested. Good conditional booked. Nice each way chance I think.

3:00 Mead Vale

Winner at Taunton over hurdles. In form stable does well with its chasers this season (11 chasers were in the money from 30 runs ). Worth an each way try.

I say I don’t think I’ve ever exercised my prerogative in December before. Still it will be an experience, methinks.

But down to the old ‘brass tacks’. Later on I will be hosting a conference call featuring all my moles / insiders/ contacts (delete as appropriate), with a special emphasis on the 2019/20 NH campaign, is there anything you would like me to ask the panel?!? Maybe others could do the same, as well, and report back their findings - [HASHTAG]#anythingtoliventhisplaceup[/HASHTAG].

Quick razz through Taunton's card today...

1:30 - Our Three Sons @ 8/1
2:00 - Cotton Vale @ 5/1
2:30 - By Order Of @ 17/2
3:00 - Malangan @ 9/2
3:30 - Coby Nine @ 6/5
4:00 - Lamh Ar Lamh @ 6/1
4:30 - Sabrina @ 11/4

Good luck to all who are having a play today...<cheers> <ok>

Anything worthwhile in Nicky's 'stable tour'???? What do we think??? - https://www.sportinglife.com/racing/news/nicky-henderson-stable-tour/173400

It'll be interesting to see how the following go... Mite Bite, needs a bit of tlc me thinks... Santini, just want to see him progress... Champ, just think he could be anything, and a season of novice chasing will be good to watch... Ok Corral, had a bit on him ap for Cheltenham but the flu jab did him in there...

As usual, I know you will be keeping the regular and not so regular readers up to date with the general well being of said trainers form, winners and potential runners, all done with your usual wit and wisdom Sir Barney...<whistle> <laugh>

Since when have you used a hashtag? That needs a stewards enquiry.
