The Tories potentially act in your interests though, or at least more so than Labour, so you aren’t the one mugging yourself. People who have convinced themselves they’re for a party which completely works for a chunk of the population that doesn’t include them are mugs in my book. We’ve demonised the idea of being working class somehow and the Tories have reaped the benefit.
That’s a given. Still think 1/6 is a bit skinny. I’d take the 10/11 on getting a majority if you’re confident.
Of course it is. I'm open to everyone, everywhere having the ability to change their minds. Sometimes people dont give you the opportunity to Express that though. Wouldnt you agree?
You are in a weird place Watford. It’s a Tory stronghold. Labour and limps are miles behind. Plus you are in a ‘leave’ constituency. You may have to do what Chukka and Lee have done and moved constituencies.
You know I don’t bet (remember Portsmouth away). Although I will say I reckon he ( Boris) will smash it.
Johnson's going to get a lot of scrutiny and he's not going to like it. People that don't like him really don't like him. I can still see No Overall Majority.
If I do it’ll be somewhere even more Tory Honestly don’t think Brackers will be as Tory in future but this is an election too soon for anyone else here.
Two things in favour of Tories in my view: 1. At the 2017 election, people didn't really know much about Corbyn except that he might be a lovable rebel. They know a lot more now, and don't look what they see (constant low polling doesn't lie) 2. I don't believe Boris will make the utter ****fest of a campaign that Theresa May did. A lot of lessons will have been learned.
That’s wrong Stroller. If he achieved Brexit then had an election I can see people scrutinising policy ten but now it will be simply down to Brexit and who we trust to get it done.
Maybe in the future this whole political landscape will change. But for now Brackers is true blue and will stay for some time. Watford I will have a chat with John (Redwood) and get a couple of passes to Parliament. We can meet up with Gove and talk QPR. Seriously last time he took me there it was a fab experience.
There are still an awful lot of people who don't want to get it done at all, Ellers. Sure, people wanted it over with - not realising of course that the Withdrawal Agreement is just the start - but they will now have a chance to stop it altogether. Don't count your chickens.
Limp dem MP Heidi Allen isn't going to stand at the next election. Sad but she would only have lost. I can see a few ex Tories bowing out.
My Mrs has just got back from visiting a friend who’s son was recently stabbed to death in horrific circumstances......to hear the story first hand and the hurt this lady and her family are going through is truly heartbreaking and has brought me to tears. An utterly pointless loss of a young lads life who really was in the wrong place at the wrong time.........I now feel very, very sad.
No all you are doing is trying to stir trouble. You have never mentioned never, when posters have gone too far against me but as usual quick to act like some super mod if I say something. Actually the only bullying is coming from you. I haven’t said anything today which has been nasty or in anyway something you need to reply to, The debate is going just fine Staines. Stick to it.
