You should have another referendum and then in four years have another one
And a bit later have another one

Sadly I can’t see it especially with Labour tonight being 16 behind the Tories. The fanatics won’t risk a Brexit parliament.
However you are correct about Corbyn in that he is f*cked and that has nothing to do with politics. :)

    Good. Something needs to change.

Looking at the options on the ballot paper, however, it’ll be like choosing between a bullet in the head, a dagger in the heart or a red hot poker up the ‘arris.

I had to listen to that Femi muppet tonight. I can’t wait to get Brexit done so I don’t have to listen to these media attention seeking tw@ts.
“Blah blah blah people’s vote”. What a plank.

Really can’t see myself voting in the GE this time around.

But looking forward to discussions with any canvassers that come knocking at my door.

Frankly, I’m not sure whether we should have Brexit then a General Election, or a General Election and then Brexit, or another referendum then a General Election, or another General Election and then another referendum, or simply revoke Article 50 and have another General Election whereupon the next Government may or may not deliver Brexit, or get another EU extension to go around it all again.

We should put those options to the people on a referendum. On second thoughts, perhaps we should have a General Election where one party has it in their manifesto to put these options to the people in a referendum?

Hang on! Maybe we should first ask the Scottish again whether they’d like to be independent? In which case, do they want to leave the U.K. with or without a deal? Maybe their response depends upon the outcome of the U.K. referendum to find out if we want a referendum before a GE, or a GE before a referendum, or both at the same time, or neither?

Oops! What about Northern Ireland? We’d best ask them some questions as we don’t want to upset the Good Friday Agreement that has been such a rip-roaring success that the various parties meet harmoniously at Stormont each week to discuss the issues of the day affecting the peoples of Northern Ireland, such as should you wear an orange sash on your way to having your foetus terminated?

But, if we consider the Scots and the Irish, won’t the Welsh feel left out? We’d better ask them too!

Oh no! Should we ask the Scots, Irish and Welsh in series or simultaneously? If I’m series, then in which order?

****! I’ve forgotten the English. Best not ask them because there’s no such thing other than when the footie’s on and, besides, you can’t have English nationalism alongside Scots, Welsh and Irish counterparts because that’d be racist.

Isn’t there a Cornish nation too? Kernow, Kermit or something? Best solve Gibraltar whilst we’re at it. And the Falklands. And the Elgin Marbles. And whether Hurst’s shot crosses the line. No, that was offset by Lampard’s wasn’t it?

What else have we done that we should be ashamed of? Oh yes, the Empire! We should budget for reparations.

By crikey, it’s a complex matter, innit?

Let’s call the whole thing off and have a coalition government with Namby Norks as PM and Corbyn as her gimp.

A story they don't want you to read
Here’s a curious story, that for some reason the BBC and the major international news agencies have not covered, though they definitely know about it.

Did Britain, France and the USA have right on their side when we bombed Syria in April 2018 – supposedly in response to a poison gas attack by the Damascus regime? Or was the action rash and lawless?

In fact, we and the other countries did not actually wait for any investigation by the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) – the recognised international watchdog.

So imagine how awkward it would have been if the OPCW (which receives much support from Paris, London and Washington) had reported that claims of a poison gas attack were untrue, or at least unproven. Our bombing would then have been illegal.

And imagine the relief in those capitals when the OPCW duly reported that it was reasonable to conclude that chlorine gas had been used. It was a pretty weak conclusion (and the original, more serious claim, that sarin had been used, was dismissed).

And imagine the rage and upset in those same capitals when a whistleblower at the OPCW leaked information suggesting that this conclusion may have been wrong, and that gas cylinders supposedly dropped by helicopter could in fact have been placed at the scene by hand.

Since the only people in the conflict who have helicopters are the Syrian state, this detail is pretty crucial.

He said this rather important information had been mysteriously left out of the official report.

Last week, a former boss of the OPCW, Jose Bustani, backed the whistleblower, and publicly accused the organisation of ‘irregular behaviour’ during its investigation.

Mr Bustani said he had long held doubts about the alleged attack in Douma, on the outskirts of Damascus, saying: ‘I could make no sense of what I was reading in the international press. Even official reports of investigations seemed incoherent at best.’

We have had quite enough wars on false pretences. It costs lives, including those of our soldiers. This stuff is important.

Talk of the union breaking up is fantasy. The SNationalistP are opportunists and don’t speak for the majority of Scotland.

It’s funny how many of the media voices have started listening to the people. Many now are saying that Parliament is stopping democracy and it’s a “dead parliament’. Brexit should have been delivered but because of 400 fanatics in Parliament our one voice is being ignored. They are scared of an election because they know they will lose their seats and a cosy job.
I have been saying this for some time, if a party isn’t listening to the voters they will take their vengeance at the ballot box.
The whole rotten lot need to go and I hope the call for an inquiry into Bercow and some remain MPs happens.

Yeah, your one voice is being listened to, but our one voice isn’t. John Culshaw has about 53 voices and most are listened to. :)

It was a typo it should have read “our only voice”. It’s this bloody auto correct!
Although now you come to think of it. :1980_boogie_down:

Talking of laughing I have just heard Andrew Marr say to that stupid Diane Abbott, “ let’s just say you were Home Secretary in a labour government”? <laugh> I didn’t know which part of that to laugh at? <laugh>

Oh god I have to turn Andrew Marr show off again as he gives remainers a free ride then crucifies leavers! Another remoaner who is not worth listening to.
Still remember when Farage was on the show to discuss Brexit and all he did was talk about backers, Russian money, Banks and wouldn’t let him discuss the real issue.
