Govt to table a motion for a GE on Monday

12 December
Labour will bottle it as usual. Seriously an opposition not wanting a GE is ridiculous. Comrade Corbyn needs to sort out his problem with Jews and act like a statesman (which he isn't) and put his roubles where his mouth is.

Can Labour afford to reject a GE and be portrayed as frightened of voters on every Tory election pamphlet?

Big decision for Corbyn coming
I'm not sure they can. Corbyn wont win it as things stand so the best course of action for him is to let the Tories continue this royal **** up called brexit and be known as the party that split the uk.

They can save money on any pamphlet. Dont think many really want an election on dark, dreary and short winter days.
If it’s to get rid of half those muppets in Parliament I would walk through snow.
Like I said previously they will bottle it. Many know that they will be gone. You watch the likes of Grieve Hammond Soubry and Co say no.
Their time will come just like the speaker and we will get a strong Tory government with a new hand and majority.

Labour can't afford to have a Brexit election, so they will continue to block it. They need Johnson to bring his deal back, so that amendments can be added - referendum, customs union, workers' rights, NHS safeguards, whatever. Get Brexit sorted more on their terms than Johnson's and then have an election on the issues that people cared about before Brexit became the be all and end all.

No one other than a few remoaners and fanatics wants a loser vote. Labour are just playing games and they will lose any election with Corbynoski as leader and the muppet show as a front bench. 2/3 of Labour MPs don’t even want Jezza!
There will be no amendments either.

The only reason the bill passed its second reading was so that the opposition could add amendments. It won't pass otherwise.

That could be true as nothing surprises me with that lot but Boris isn’t that stupid. He will get his deal through or he will get his election if the cowards let him.
Funnily the only reason they said they wanted to implement the Benn act was to stop no deal and now they seem to be changing their minds. The electorate won’t forgive Corbyn. He will be history soon.

Seems to me that Boris has been snookered as predicted by many on here. I thought you said it’s nailed on we will leave on the 31st
