Doubt it ... why would he leave to work under the same financial handicap that poor old Podgietina has had from Dodgy Dan? ...

No such constraints at our highly ambitious club - he left a much bigger club than Spurs to come to us in the first place ... but nowt wrong with you dreaming mate <cheers>

I had it in mind to stop using that particular gif as it was a little too distasteful. But I happened to be in discussion with my eldest when I got into a pm "spat" with Tobes, and so formulated my challenge - to use my "outrage" at being censored to create a thread, make one post, and see how long it took to achieve 20 pages.

It took less than 36 hours, Bambs.

One post from me, and this board went into meltdown.

Pixie seemed to be hardest hit.

Anyway, that's all in the past. There won't be any more pranks like that from me, not for a long time. You have my word on that.

There was no PM spat, merely you messaging me ranting about your freedom of speech, crying about account restrictions that hadn’t happened and then you threatening to flounce.

I can post it up if you like? As your memory appears to have somewhat distorted the truth............

There are loads of excellent players who went many seasons without winning a trophy. Matt Le Tissier is a good example. Or the entire Arsenal squad in 1970 or 1986. It's a nonsensical measure of an individual's performance, especially mid-career.

It was genius on my part.

I needed you to believe me. You always play with a straight bat, and being a ‘Pede sympathiser there is no way you would have played along.

I told my lad that as I was typing the pm!

I had the whole thing mapped out from the start.
