impressed with hooiveld, kelv played well, lallana quality as always, guly scored a good goal, richardson played in some great balls but due to some brilliant link up play i'd give motm to connolly

My MOTM has to go to Richardson. I absolutely love the guy - he was outstanding today! Could easily have going to Kelvin, Connolly, Lallana.
 
Great to see Richardson winning people over - been calling for him over Butterfield since he got fit last season. Great player.

Same! I found it so frustrating last season when Butters was picked over him but it's great to see him in the team and playing so well.

Obviously. Kelvin made 3 or 4 good saves today and his distribution was better than normal for him. I think I even saw him come and catch a cross cleanly. He couldn't be blamed for their goal, so I would say je was deserving of an 8, 7.5 at worst.
 
what annoyed me was the fact that some twats were getting on kelvs back for taking a little while to take his goal kick. absolute nobheads
 
There were no 6's today in my book.......only 8 and 9's. Each goal scorer a 9, the whole midfield an 8. Both backs an 8 and the centre backs 9 each. A bloody good game. I have to admit there was some defensive mistakes certainly from there free kicks as each one got through on target not to mention the one they scored! A good all round display I would say.

Hammond was tops today!

Harsh on Fox who was at least a 6, Guly a 7 and I'd say Hooiveld was an 8, he was dominant.
 
We gave Brum too many chances for my liking. The defence seems to be getting pressed a lot and being forced into errors. L1 teams were too scared to do that but better teams don't make it easy to play out from the back. Luckily Brum couldn't finish a 4 piece jigsaw. It's an issue for the team to adress though as there isn't an individual at fault and it's something I'm sure NA is working on.

Great,attacking play though and a deserved win..

You may have hit the nail on the head in your last line.

There are teams who are good defensively but lack a finish and there are teams who score for fun but are vunerable in defense. Obviously, the team that combines both is usually the one that gets promotion. Our defense is ok but we are closer to the second option. We have so many potential goalscorers in the team, it's no surprise we don't defend too well but we sure as hell do play good football.
