I cannot believe that people are getting on Fox's back, he's played 3/4 games!!! If people dont get behind him and moan at everything he does its not gonna give him much confidence is it? Obviously im not having a go at everyone but some people do not realise that we have a quality player with premiership and champions league experience. I thought he had a solid game today, he just needs to learn how to interact with lallana and then he will be the best LB we've had since Bridgey.
Ridiculous how people can slate him. Chris Burke is one of the best RMs in the league and Fox kept him quiet for most of the game. Okay the shot he had from the free kick was crap but it was a slippery and wet ball. Even if he had been rubbish so far (he really hasn't) it'd be wrong to get on his back.
If you must be so padantic!! but either way you see what im getting at.he will get better and better as the season goes on.
I think his price tag doesn't help him. People still see him as a waste of money and will therefore slate him for every mistake. I personally think he looks very good and will only get better.
If there is one fan moaning about one little thing regarding the team right now, then they are not a real fan in shape or form. Best days of our saints lifes. If you moan through them, you are a seriously sad and pathetic individual.
Fox was excellent today! It amazes me how some people criticise his positioning yet can't see that Harding is constantly out of position and the wrong side of his marker!! I think it must be the price tag. He looks a class act and he's only going to get better the more he plays with his NEW teammates. That his some left foot he's got as well! Some of the crosses he whips in are absolutely superb! He's going to gain us a lot of points this season with his assists. I must take some credit as well for his lucky porridge at Chilworth Manor and Jack Cork's lucky cornflakes
Fox was good today and will get better still. Thick heads who don't understand the game moaning about him. Today was great. Happy Days! No negatives, apart from the muppets who leave early.
I agree, I thought he looked pretty solid and composed. Much better than against Forest, I thought, and even then he was pretty good IMO.
he's decent in the air and positionally, however his tackling looks to be a weak point at this stage.
