Here's a few surprises. I think most are aware that the reason why certain countries look bigger or smaller than others is that of something called the Mercator Projection. Putting a 3D planet on a two-dimensional world map was something of a challenge for early cartographers, and so a Flemish geographer and cartographer named Gerardus Mercator came up with a solution for the most accurate world map. But it surprised me when I dragged some land masses around the globe to see their true sizes. https://thetruesize.com/#?borders=1...*MzYwMDAwMDA(MA~!CN*Mjk5ODc4MQ.MTc4MDQ5NjY)Mg Here's a few examples. https://www.boredpanda.com/true-siz...ebook&utm_medium=link&utm_campaign=BPFacebook please log in to view this image

Well, there was the one time when I was giving a lift back to a delightful filly from Courseulles-sur-mer and she chose to show her appreciation as we... Shut up Ernie. Go and walk the dog or summat. You're getting distracted.
