From memory, if a motion is put to a division and there is a tie the precedent is that he votes against the motion. So the motion to pass the deal would fail. Sort of seems fair - if you are proposing something and can't muster an overall majority, it would be odd if if then happened. In other words, status quo until you can get a majority to change that.

Edit - happy to stand corrected as not certain and multitasking so can't look it up immediately

QT from Leicester with an audience that is largely an anti-Government Remain audience...

The Brexit Party panellist, Martin Daubney MEP, ex-Labour supporter, tells the audience that its a terrible deal because so many aspects of it remain locked into EU regulatory mechanisms...

...and the audience applauds him with gusto!

If so many are pro-Remain, then why would they warmly receive the negative comments (about the proposed agreement) of a Brexit Party spokesman when these negative comments are in respect of the perception that the UK remains locked into EU frameworks?

Surely (if true) they'd like and want that, wouldn't they?

Just so you know, I 'liked' Ellers' puerile post because I found the term 'soap dodgers' amusing. I remain bored.

Stroller is upset because his Losers vote is going out the window and once Brexit is sorted this thread will slow down and he will have no life.

Watch Daubney's rant about Johnson's deal and how the audience responds.

What I will concede, however, is that as the show has progressed more of the audience are coming out as Leavers. At the beginning only two were brave enough to raise their hands, but others are now feeling more confident to make themselves known.

But there are Remainers saying its a bad deal on the basis that aspects are unchanged from what we have today. They should embrace that, shouldn't they?
