The Argies were play acting this morning trying to get an England player sent off. Disgraceful. They’re on their way home now, bye cheating Argies

If Farrell does not kick the points, what is the point? Slade, Joseph are better centres and Ford I'd the better 10

I fully expect the All Blacks to score 80+ against Namibia

Very unusual for him to miss Four kicks but the humid conditions mentioned affected the ball and a lot of mistakes were made in both handling and kicking by both sides , he is human same as everyone else .

NRL Grand Final is on in a couple of hours.

    Sydney Roosters V Canberra Raiders.

1st grand final appearance for the Raiders in 25 years and Sydney hoping to go back to back.

Been a Roosters supporter since i first moved to Oz but spent most of my time in Canberra and was there when they were formed. Entire family is Raiders mad.

Think the match may be showm on Sky over there

BBC report said Namibia played well and should be proud of their performance

They did especially for the first 25 minutes or so and then the All Blacks got out of 3rd gear

Hopefully the gap between the big boys and the rest will start closing

I think it is in some areas. Argentina and Italy were teams who regularly were hammered. Argentina have, over the last few years, become a very very good international side. Look now at the French against Tonga, 70 minute's gone and only lead by 9 points. Yesteryear they would have been at least 30 points up.

Superb performance by Japan so far in this game and the tournament in general.

It will be interesting to see if they can keep developing or if it's just a great generational team.

I think the gap at the top is as wide as ever with the very elite (NZ, SA, Wales, England etc) but there's a few currently losing pace with that elite (France, Scotland) who are finding themselves strongly challenged by the top of the second tier such as Japan and Argentina.

Get in Japan. The Scotch tried to bully them after 60 minutes and they stood up to them.

Even Typhoon Haggis couldn't stop Japan. Fair play to them

The commentator said during the game that the Japanese played like the Baa Baa's and he was right, they played without fear and just wanted to move the ball around at speed. Great to watch.

    Tasty QFs

    Japan v South Africa
    New Zealand v Ireland
    England v Australia
    Wales v France

All matches have a bit of history. Japan beat South Africa in the last World Cup, Ireland won 2 of their last 3 matches against New Zealand having never beaten them previously, England v Australia a perennial classic and Wales v France is traditionally a great match up of flair and running rugby.

Going for Japan, New Zealand, England and Wales in the semis,so that probably means an Ireland v France final

Absolutely mesmerised by the game. A fantastic advert for the game. Japan absolutely deserved the win and have been an inspiration throughout the tournament.

We need to massively up our game if we are to beat Australia.
