I'd forgotten what hard work this could be.

What I'm saying is that whatever deal Johnson might be able to agree with the EU would only get through parliament if it's subject to a confirmatory referendum with Remain as the other option.

Regarding the ‘hard work’ comment you need to get off your high horse

As I said the referendum ain’t gonna happen. The reason being is that Corbin won’t risk Brexit and 120 Labour MPs in Leave seats would be ousted. The British public are not as stupid as you think.
Democracy will prevail and it will be the Boris deal or we leave on the 31st which will happen ( even with the surrender act).
I can understand your goading and your delusional beliefs. But you really need to see how this Brexit thing works. We voted to leave and the majority of the British public and MPs want it done. Other than a few fanatics, no one wants another vote because it gives too many freaks platforms for spouting crap ( the bloke with the speaker outside parliament is a good example) :)
Maybe if we had another referendum you would want
    Leave no deal
    Leave Boris deal
    Remain.
Seriously Stroller you should move on and hope Boris gets a deal. That way all the population will get toilet paper on time.

So, if Johnson gets a deal and it goes to a referendum, would you vote Johnson Deal or Remain, if those were the two clear choices?

Well TBH it depends if he has stitched up the DUP and ERG but that would leave him vulnerable, so I think probably not.

By the way I do see the remain fanatics plan... either oust Boris or demand a referendum on the deal. Then try and split the leave vote with a dodgy ballot paper. But what happens when leave wins again?
What happens when we see the stitch up? Do you really think the British public would forgive a stitch up? It would be the end of Labour and Limp Dims and massive wins for democracy.

If I was a fanatic I would hope that would happen, however public opinion has shifted heavily. The MPs know and keep saying bar Chukka. When you are an career MP you just want to keep your seat.

Also on a losers vote, we know Bojo and Farage would lead the leave campaigne but who would head the remain campaign? Blair,Major or Bercow? That would work well? It won’t happen Stroller.

I do feel sorry for Jezza though as no one wants him to be leader. If they try the ousting trick on Boris. Funnily a Labour MP said that yesterday and was ripped to pieces on Twitter from all sides. It will fail. Can you imagine if Boris gets a deal and MPs try and oust him? That will go down well with the voters. Nah it won’t happen.

Bloody hell Bob you have done a complete turn around from the guy who didn’t know what he was doing?
There are a few fanatics that want a divisive ‘losers vote’ as a last chance. However they know that another fair choice vote would end in a leave win again. The guy from Comres was on tv the other day confirming this through all the data they have collected. So what they are saying now is just a way to split the leave vote. Fortunately the electoral commission wouldn’t allow or get away with it.
There will not be another referendum. They had their chance and blew it.

Any person that believes in democracy would never vote Remain after we have had a vote that still needed to be implemented.
Funnily I thought all MPs wanted a deal and just wanted to stop a no deal ( that’s what MPs were saying) so if Boris brings back a deal they won’t have a problem will they... especially Benn.

However I will let Stroller answer your question.

I still dont have a clue fella. I thought leave meant leave, now people talk about a leave vote being split as they want different versions of leave. Very bizarre

    No surprise, then.

Clearly, a second referendum will constitute democracy, whereas the first was just a platform for liars, racists and other ne’er do wells.

Uber liked that post, but I'm still trying to work out what you're on about.

How can the leave vote be split in a Johnson deal v Remain vote?

We've moved on, Uber. That was then and this is now. All the bullshit about what kind of deal we would get would have been crystallised into a real choice. Of course it would be democratic to put that back to the people.

    I feel sorry for Stroller
    He loses in the referendum
His beloved Corbin is unelectable. His own party want him out. He can’t even organise a coup against a lame duck government.
He is behind in the polls to the weakest Tory government I have known.
He is praying for a losers vote as a way forward. He loves backing dead horses.
I hope when Finglas organises a Not606 day at the races Stroller doesn’t give me any tips! :emoticon-0104-surpr Sod that!

I tell you what, why don’t we have a referendum on EU membership every 3 years. That would be uber-democratic, wouldn’t it? I’m not sure why I’m asking you that, as being such a staunch defender of up-to-the-nanosecond democracy that you have shown yourself to be, of course you’d support this!
