It's not606, and don't we just know it. I'm all in favour for this forum, in theory, and I appreciate that the bloke running it has paid the admin costs out of his own pocket to give us this service, but it seems a waste of money and time when the majority of posts are complete tosh (and I do not use that word lightly).

I like a good non-football topic with fellow posters as much as the next man (providing the next man likes non-football topics), but it seems too hard to find a decent footie thread, and I end up trawling through dozens of pointless "I'm so cool", "I'm better than you" type posts which are getting particularly tiresome.

I also know that this thread alone will leave me open to abuse and cries of hypocrisy, and it's also been said before, but come on now, a great win yesterday and we're still making 'jokes' about 'your mum'? Sort it out people.

Instead of reading the threads that don't interest you why don't you go on the ones that do and contribute, With only 2 posts to your name it doesn't look like your helping your own argument.
 
i see both sides..i agree that if people dont like something, why not just click off..its harder to actually complain, then to to click back....but it is also frustrating that sometimes football stuff gets lost down the page.....one thing i prefer about 606, is that new articles stay at the top, its easier to keep track of new threads....lazy people (like me) dont always look too far down..
all i can suggest is people look for articles they like and comment on them, it will put it back at the top, and more people should end up commenting..
 
A forum is what the members make of it.
If enough of us put the effort into it then we will have a decent forum, a good laugh and a place to have a debate on City matters.
There maybe a few tossers but we have to weed them out, or get into 'rm and **** 'em up!

I made the following comment on HaynzeyHCFC's thread: "Completely agree with Haynzey about the forum. I'm undecided really despite feeling positive initially. There are some incredibly ignorant and offensive people on here. If it becomes 'their' forum then they can keep it and decent ex-606'ers will regrettably need to find another home."

I hope it doesn't come to that, but it may be heading that way.
 
It started off really well on here but I've noticed a few really dodgy comments and threads in the last few days. To be fair though Mick and OLM are getting rid of the most offensive stuff. The ignore poster function is very good for blocking out very abusive and extreme posters.
 
We were polled i think on what we want to have this board. Maybe it would be better for the 'Hull' section to be left to hull/football talk.. and all none football related articles left to the 'general' part of the site
 
I think its down to one man / child who has started this all !!! we all know who that is.. any chance of him getting banned
 
This is a football forum stick to it or leave please! I dont see what you get off ruining it for people who live out of the area and use this as a source of City news! Please leave back to your sad little life! Thank you!
 
Is already been voted on if the mod sticks to what was agreed then there will be some non related posts and a majority of football related posts so less none related posts will be left on. Can always just scan the titles and open ones that you believe to be football related
 
The non football arguements are over powering the football ones, we'll soon forget what this board is all about. The Tigers first and foremost, get a grip some of you or this site will go the way of the other pathetic ones who have tried and failed.
FOOTBALL.....don't forget it.
