He didn’t touch him with his feet at all, you’re absolutely ****ing clueless.

So flying into him sideways and trapping Salah's ankle with his thigh was a controlled and legal tackle?

Okay mate

the problem with fans is that in most cases they defend decisions when it goes for them and complain when the same thing works against them. that's why consistency is key and why var should be able to overturn decisions .. Why do I get the feeling this rule exists because the refs pride was on the line ? refs sitting around a table saying " why are we trained " , " we are being undermined" etc etc … they want to feel important and enjoy the control/ power imo.

Kopite whataboutery at its most desperate.

Strange that you only care about VAR being applied correctly as a [HASHTAG]#neutral[/HASHTAG] and yet your main example of VAR injustice is a Liverpool penalty where Mané is actually kicked from behind but you and Shearer feel is still a bit soft

don't you find it concerning that choudrey broke ritches ankle a month ago and now this ? people defending him are off their trolley imo

He didn’t kick him, he trod on his foot - so yes it was a foul. That Mane decided to take a step forward before thinking it was better to just chuck himself over, means he bought the penalty.

Hahaha, as I said CLUELESS. It was a booking lad, a cynical foul, that’s it.

It was a cynical foul, happens in most games, but that’s all it was. Klopp was pissed as Salahs ankle twisted under the challenge and he also used it to deflect away from the blatant dive that won the game.

He wasn’t kicked, he was touched and the contact was never enough to bring him down, hence the reason he took a stride before realising he was going nowhere and then dived. It was never a penalty and if it had been given against the RS you’d have been crying buckets about [HASHTAG]#PGMOL[/HASHTAG] yer blinkered blurt.

100% a pen.

You can't blame Liverpool for the rules of the game. If its soft then that's the refs fault. Mane showed his experience and did what any top player would do in this situation.

Milner with the pressure just stood their with hands on his hips like a boss.

Grow up daft lad. I’m far from ‘upset’ I would be if I was a Leicester fan though. I just hate cheating in the game, and VAR was supposedly to help in eradicating it, in this instance it’s condoned it. Poor.

We've lost 2 games this season and both were to engineered penalties Rashford and now Mane ... it does rankle ... but the worst crime yesterday was undoubtedly Klopp's irresponsible rant at Hamza Choudhury ... both Milner and Henderson are constant 'tactical' foulers and the regularity with which they do it suggests that their manager has dubious, if not downright double, standards on the subject ...

As a result, one of our young players is now getting racist dog's abuse from the Pool armchair plastics ... twatish thing to do and he should issue an apology from those over shiny nashers and also condemn the trolls . <cheers>

Are 'Pool not only fluking but also cheating their way to the title?

The very same little men that were all over Jamie Vardy's 'instigation' of contact during our title season are now bleating like little bitches about the very slightest of contacts justifying a spot kick ffs! <doh>

So you agree it was a foul and it was in the area so a definite penalty

Name any instances of a referee giving a legitimate penalty without the player going down

The cowardice and incompetence of PGMOL and Albrighton is not Mané's fault

I hope he starts every game for Leicester from now on, let's see their reactions when their top player is tackled like that and injured
