A lot of people are tweeting about news coming out of France suggesting that Rosicky is under investigation by Interpol for fixing the game yesterday.

Apparently, Rosicky made a huge win by betting on Newcastle to draw with the Gunners and that Phil Dowd may have been part of the so-called 'match fixing' (he may have received suspicious payments from Rosicky).

Personally I don't think there's any truth to these rumours... but it would be a huge shame if they were to be proven correct.

Is anyone else able to shed any light on this?

Edit: NUFCfans have just tweeted about this too... there may be some truth to these rumours.

The rumours were probably started by the same **** that put Phil Dowd in our squad on Wikipedia. Roflmao. One game where a referee shows us some sympathy and now he's literally classes a newcastle player.

We've had **** decisions left, right and centre this season.

What about the linesman then?
Surely he should be investigated for the wrong offside call with Best?
Match fixing my arse, it's just sour grapes.

Can't see anything in it. First pen was correct. Second goal was fine. Third was soft, but my initial reaction was pen (and I'm normally dubious - at first I didn't think the first was, but watching on TV it is). Fourth was, well...

Just some bitter people I imagine.

loada bollocks! seems to me to be similar to the dallas bobby ewing dream scenario, in a similar vein i only hope i wake up and mike ashleys tenure is all but a horrbile nightmare

Absolute rubbish
The reports that are coming out from france are sour grapes I expect most people in france to support Arsenal because majority of Arsenal squad are french

Dowd made Diaby strike Barton did he? Dowd made Tiote hit a 30yd screamer did he?

I doubt he could have accounted for Tiote's goal though. Plus wouldnt Dowd have overruled the linesman on Best's disallowed goal. The story doesnt add up here. Sounds like Arsenal fans looking for excuses to why they choked

Geez... don't shoot the messenger guys ;). Haha.

I only posted this because apparently Interpol are involved, and they're not an organisation to take lightly!

who are they - judging by your comment - have you had past experience with them

Apparently the match will be awarded to Arsenal with a 3-0 scoreline.

They haven't decided how many points you will be deducted, but it's likely to be oooooh, I dunno, thirty?

Or am I killing time before the Superbowl?

Seriously though, good comeback. Can't argue with that.....
