That's a good point like. It just seemed to appear very quickly with not much notice, which to me suggested there was a purpose to it. He normally does podcasts during the season but can't really remember him doing a talk in before (other than the RAWA event and various branches), so the timing and type of event suggested more than just your average talk in. I'll be honest, I'd sort of assumed that, since it tied in so well with his 1-2 weeks thing, he was expecting the announcement to be made and that could be a kind of fans event instead of an official press conference to discuss the details, Netflix cameras there, probably streamed on SAFC Facebook or whatever. Hopefully it was always unrelated, but I don't really see why they quickly arranged it if it wasn't to serve any particular purpose

I reckon it's just because the game is postponed next weekend
He is doing a Q&A on 21st October at Trimdon the night before the Tranmere game, which I'm hoping to get to

Actually that's the umpteenth time I've been told stuff about the takeover in advance but haven't bothered to share it with you - well, not until immediately after the event any way.

I know this gives the impression of me being wise after the event or completely full of bullshit and I'm sorry.

I do feel a bit of a donkey but I've been distracted trying weed out all the journalists fake accounts.

I've also been really stressed about losing my job as moderator so I've been putting in double shifts keeping this thread alive, and I'm not ashamed to admit, just to stay onside with the gaffer.

I hope you all understand.

I don’t particularly want to know about RTG(. I left because of the wums and bickering) but the mods on there should be warned about commenting on posters on different message boards. It’s a form of character assassination as many people know the bloke targeted.

Well that's certainly the actions of someone who is meant to be in a position of authority.

If the site owner allows that then it really does show rtg in a very bad light
