Anything that takes the club forward in terms of image or anything else for that matter is fine by me.

Got to agree mate, I understood the reasoning but God it was wrench to leave RP, and once that was done it felt like any other change was just 'small beer' in comparison.

I just want this to be done now, I didn't really have a lot of faith that we'd get automatic promotion this season, so I REALLY need some daft reason to hope that we can do it somehow.

 

It’s torture like thinking we could be on the verge of massive change ,cos generally following Sunderland over the years is bloody hard work .

I’ve always gone to matches with my son but lately he’s not been that enthusiastic and tbh I can’t blame him. We pick and choose our games these days but as soon as I heard about Mr Donald’s talk in I thought “ Aye Aye” this has got to be it, party time. A piece of history.
So, I texted my son offering to pay for a taxi there and back, tickets and all drinks. I couldn’t believe it when his response was “ Naaah”.
We need this takeover to re focus all the fans who have fallen by the wayside in the last few seasons. Get them back to the club. ( I include myself to some extent).
If this comes off the way people say it will, the Sky is the limit and everyone will want a piece of the action.
