Fulham are seeking compensation in the region of £7m from Liverpool after 16-year-old midfielder Harvey Elliott joined the Reds in the summer. (Times - subscription required)
Having seen him play this week, it seems a fair number.
the transfer inflation has to be taken into account in that calculation though. Fulham will probably be almost as interested in a sell on clause after all QPR netted approx £9m when we sold Sterling.Didn't we're have to pay £8m for Danny Ings in the end? In comparison, £7m for Elliott seems like a bargain. And I like Ings at that too!

yeah but there is that word supposed . I find it difficult to believe the tribunal aren't influenced by status of teams and if they are for example already appearing in league cup tiesNot really. Tribunal is supposed to be compensation for the time and effort put in to the player already, not expected or potential value. The sell on clause covers that latter.

Jürgen Klopp is set to bolster his coaching staff with the appointment of Porto coach Vitor Matos. The Portugese will take on the responsibility of helping bridge the gap between the academy and Melwood. [@LynchStandard]

Been here years now, played in half the European leagues but still can't get a permit; never plays enough, isn't deemed talented enough to be granted one on a special 'wonderkid' route. Basically, we'll never see him.Haven't you lot still got one out on loan or am I thinking of the wrong club?
