Not really. Tribunal is supposed to be compensation for the time and effort put in to the player already, not expected or potential value. The sell on clause covers that latter.
yeah but there is that word supposed . I find it difficult to believe the tribunal aren't influenced by status of teams and if they are for example already appearing in league cup ties
