Desperately trying to be one of the lads, despite barely ever posting about Sunderland before, and pretending there aren't 30 minute gaps between posts and that decent posters have left. Roger must be wondering why an unpaid pompous dope has decimated his forum. Banning harmless Sunderland lads like Hank who no-one ever really takes offence at. A lad who's made a bigger contribution than Pancho would if he posted for half a century. But he likes to keep the lower orders in their place does Pancho.

Something is definitely afoot!

I live not far from a military airport and usually fighter jets go on patrol in twos (sometimes threes).

However, I've just seen seven of them fly off, one after the other.

Today must be the day!!

I said weeks ago that the deal was done, it was I saw first hand proof.

However it seems some people aren't clear and appear confused so I'll explain once.
The deal, the official takeover and the announcement are totally different things.

If someone on here asks me for a spare ticket I have and I say 'it's yours' that's a done deal. I know I can refuse anyone else and the buyer can travel to the game in total confidence.

When we meet up, at the game, money and the ticket are exchanged which is the takeover.

The buyer may then ask me to accept a pint, for my trouble, and I may or may not accept. I might then buy them a pint back or include them in our rounds. When that's all done and each party is content we can all say 'Cheers mate, nice to meet up and keep in touch for any future ticket help, all the best and see you next time'.

That's the announcement and the point at which everyone can relax and get on with the football.

That's the last explanation I'll give, if that's not good enough then it's not good enough.

I've just had a text conversation with an Italian ex-employer who says big money people are looking at the club.

He's in a different time zone so I couldn't keep him talking but I'll try again tomorrow. He's a mate of Warren Buffett so obviously very wealthy. There are loads of rumours going around but this is the first I've heard from a non football person.
