Hey guys, apparently, according to ssn, we are looking at signing Ewerton. Can someone tell me anything about him? have'nt really heard of the guy.

Cheers guys

p.s. great point yesturday!

Never heard of him, but with our strikers dropping like flies surely him and Pavlyuchenko would be good business :\
What's the rules on signings outside the transfer window?

He's OK but nothing to get excited or pumped up about. Not sure he could cope with the Premier League though.. apparently He's best known for his pace, trickery and superb long shots(wikipedia)..

Not really convinced, but it's as good as we can get in the free market.

I know a Borrusia Dortmund fan reckons he was **** don't think he will be up to it unfortuately think we will have to go with what we have got which is not a lot unfortunately!!!

But come on there must be a reaosn why he was released from his club...

A deal until the end of the season would be a safe bet.

He could either end up being a Luque or Xisco or being a Odenwingie..

We're basically looking for a striker who is better prepared for the EPL than our youth strikers.

He's not expected to set the world alight but provide cover for Best/Ranger/Lovenkrands.

Can't see the harm of signing him til the end of the season, so long he is capable of putting in a passable performance for 30minute spells.

he is not good enough. We dont need strikers to cover our cover strikers. We need to keep best and ranger going on and work and see who fits the bill by the end off the season
then purchase a striker relying to work alongside who comes out on top, most likely best due to his age ofc.

Pablo from spurs and ranger. That should be a fantastic partnership. a realistic one and a damn cheap one

And what happens if they pick up injuries? Best is out of the Ireland squad due to injury. It's all very well having youth players to bring in but they lack experience, not just in the Premier League but also in the first team.
