Could be something in that mate. Someone at OT must be saying "behind the spuds on GD simply isn't good enough".

Diego, diego, diego...it is a very funny video...freely available on the inter webby net thing.
It's funny cos Jones looks like he is singing that and woodward is clearly saying "we are on camera stop."

Not really, we need a midfield :(

What do Spurs need?

Spurs struggle and we stay on our board and discuss our failings on the match thread.
United struggle and you come here obsess about spurs...does it make up for the mess united are in? <laugh>

Oh and btw ... think you might need strikers judging by the injuries you lot pick up <yikes>

And of course VAR denies Villa a penalty in the dying seconds.

I give up.
World's most obvious penalty.

On the third Arsenal goal, did Grealish dive out of the way or was he pushed by an Arsenal player? There were certainly two Arsenal players up against the Villa wall at the time the kick was taken.....I thought this was now an offence.

Yes the law now states if the defending team assigns three or more men to the wall, the attacking team is not allowed to station players within 1 yard of said wall. If they do having been duly warned by the referee, the attacking team is penalised and an indirect free-kick is awarded in the same spot as the original free kick.

But this rule isn't being applied this season because reasons.

It is being applied, just not against everyone, as usual.
Also, Sokratis is a ****:

The Arsenal player is actually touching the back of the player in the wall!

This really pissed me off and I think he should have been yellow carded for trying to con the officials. He had a **** game, wasn't defending well and tried to get a player sent off by moving his head towards Wesley's leg...when they have VAR to review it <doh>. Idiot.

Also thought we were a little lucky with the penalty too, as Guendouzi was pulling a handful of the Villa player's shirt as he was galloping into the box. Surprised VAR didn't give a foul against us.

However, I want to balance this by saying I think Moss had a poor game for both sides. Maitland-Niles' sending off was extremely harsh, in my opinion, and whilst the challenge was naive, he didn't deserve a second yellow. Engels made an identical challenge on Torreira, when he was on a yellow, that Moss didn't give him a second yellow for. No consistency at all. Mings and Guilbert also got away with repeatedly fouling us in the second half without being booked, meaning they continued to do it. Frustrating.

Can't help but feel that Villa deserved to lose purely because of how ultra defensive they went, despite the man advantage.

If you've been to work today and had the piss ripped out of you by Spammers fans, tomorrow will be better :)

Thankfully down on the South Coast for two weeks so no gooners or hammers to get on my case. Down here they prefer rugby too. Couldn’t bear it if some farmer or surfer dude tried giving it.
