Hi guys,

It took me a while to find your page as I couldn’t remember which one of the lower leagues you’re now in. Got there in the end though, so it’s all good.

Just a quick note to ask if you could kindly give the small shack like building that you refer to as a stadium a good clean before we come down in a few weeks. I know your cleaning budget must’ve been cut significantly after all of the relegations, however when you have the pride of Hampshire coming you really should make an effort.

Oh, and don’t worry if you lose. We will most likely put out our second 11 but let’s be realistic, we’re still light years ahead of you so don’t be too disappointed.

This little twerp has been on not606 for some six years, but only now can the pathetic berk raise the strength to come on our site with this sad offering. Talk about care in the community gone wrong <doh>

When does the new school term begin ? Anybody know ?

It certainly does turn the crazies on for sure!

Will be very intimidating for away fans but unforgettable as well!

You guys are expected to win as technically you've got better players and that brings added pressure.

But both teams are also under pressure to perform - must at least turn up and give 100%.

I think at Fratton Park on a weekday evening fixture with the atmosphere is a tough ask for Southampton.

If your guys win that then they'll have earned it for sure.

Can't wait!

Agree with most of that except I don't think there's any pressure on Pompey, we need to wim, and win well really, whereas Pompey have got it all to gain and nothing to lose.

Obviously we've had the bragging rights for a while now but it's always grated on me that we didn't win one in the Championship.

Always said that it'd only be fair for us to have a cup tie with a two tier advantage so now it's up to us to deliver <cheers>

Hi Guys, I know its been along time since I visited 606 but I thought with the game loaming it would be rude note to. Great to see some of the originals from the old site still posting but I cant believe how low key things have become, I guess you haven't replaced old trouble maker himself as he would have had a field day with the Derby Game, Well up until Wednesday morning that is. Anyway Regards from a old school member and I hope Tuesdays nights game only has football to talk about after. Cheers

Whereabouts do you live in Devon, Possum ? We were staying in Totnes for a few nights, then a week in Dartmouth. Just love the South Hams !!

Hope your 1950's drainage system is upto scratch otherwise we may have to do this build up all again!

How you all feeling about tomorrow? I'd be lying if I said I wasn't starting to wobble a bit with Redmond looking to be out and the conditions not looking great at all, but if we can handle the atmosphere then our quality should come through.

Found out this morning that this could be my first visit to your place, though the offer doesn't live local so am relying on a Royal Mail delivery turning up tomorrow <yikes>

If it does then any parking tips where I can slip away from the kettle easy enough n get away?

Let's hope it's a decent game with the weather putting the idiots off and no upsets :biggrin:

Well Libby, you are being very brave about tomorrow night's game. It is always difficult to find a parking place around Fratton Park on a matchday. Good luck with that, and don't leave a Saints scarf or flag on show in your car :emoticon-0148-yes:

A Met Office weather warning states heavy rain from 4 am to 11 pm tomorrow, so a good idea to bring your swimsuit with you. Hopefully they will have finished construction of the roof over the Milton End, and plumbed in the toilets, by the time you arrive.

Pompey also have quite a few injury worries for the match, with potentially Marcus Harness / Tom Naylor / Lee Brown / Jack Whatmough / Bryn Morris out injured, and Ellis Harrison suspended. We may well have to bring in some of our Academy youngsters to fill the gaps.

Seriously though, I hope the match lives up to expectations, with no trouble from fans of either club, and may the best club win <cheers>
