According to Bristol live Rovers have opened talks with JCH about extending his contract by a further year. Wael Al Qadi has opened talk with JCH's representatives and all parties are optimistic of an agreement being reached
He's been great. I think the other lads play with more confidence because he bosses the front line and works hard. Best signing for years.
Huddersfield & PNE are reportedly sniffing around JCH, I reckon if they are seriously interested and the Rovers feel they want to sell then under current market conditions three extremely large ones has to be the minimum price offered and that might even be an under sell.
Well, if this one year extension comes to fruition and we can get that sort of dosh for him then I would think it would be hard for the Rovers to hold on to him in their current financial position. Who knows, if PNE come calling then we may even get Billy Boy back with some hard earned as a player and cash transaction ?
According to the WDP JCH has two years to run on his present contract and they have offered him a further year
I honestly think he would do well to stay with us for a while because he's been from pillar to post and at some clubs who haven't managed him properly or given him game time. He can become one of our heroes this season and then maybe move on sometime next season.
If he helped us get into the Championship he may not want to move on. I hate to say we are a one man club but without his goals we wouldn't be in the good position we are at the moment.
Out for five weeks, sidelined, tabled...... calf strain, now we shall see if we are in fact a ' One Man Team' !
Tyler and Victor then. Next 5 weeks fixtures that JCH will be missing.... Home to MK Dons Away to Doncaster Home to Bolton Home to Portsmouth Away to Rochdale Home to Swindon Home to Sunderland Doncaster, Portsmouth and Sunderland will be tricky without him. But we should have enough about us to get through the others.
Portsmouth have had a rubbish start, Sunderland are a bit here and there and have just given Ross the shaft but granted Donny could be a difficult hurdle to get over, the last time I think I saw us beat them was on a very wet and blustery Friday night up at Belle View with a Penny wind assisted thirty yarder ! Off topic and Platty is in for the Gas !....He scored a good goal once against Belgium !!
If there is one thing about the gas that I have learnt regarding off field matters, is I believe when I see it
