I told everyone that the main reason for spurs never winning **** all is due to the media and ref bias towards other teams.

If the humans involved are stupid then what can VAR do?

 

So it hasn't really made a difference then?

Well **** me if only some of us might have seen that coming eh.

 

And this is one of the problems for VAR. Only decisions such as offside, did the ball cross the line, goal or no goal etc can be decided definitively by VAR. Just about every other decision involves a degree of subjective opinion from either the ref or the 4th official.

 

Its obviously made a difference...you not watching PL footy this season?

VR has been as expected, a waste of time and money.

 

VAR does not overule the referee...it assists. If the referee does not use it...you can’t blame the technology. Refs are too pig headed to over turn their own original decisions...can’t blame VAR

Next step is a better standard of referees
