Did you see the teams we had to beat in order to win that coveted trophy? Perhaps if you knew your footy a bit better you'd have some respect.
This isn't getting at Haig, it's just how I feel. It's embarrassing as **** that they have a podium and a team up there lifting a pre-season friendly cup.
but, but, but, you don't understand it's testament to the 'sustained challenge' ... and never quite being good enough to win a proper one
They probably had to for media/sponsors reasons to be fair, I think these pre season friendly tournaments always have presentations don't they?
Which doesn't deflect from it being cringe worthy. If City or Pool had won it on the back of their trophies from last season, then such a celebration would go under the radar... but when all you have managed is a 'sustained challenge' as a distant also ran it is pretty embarrassing to wildly celebrate such a tin pot 'tournament'
I agree it's cringeworthy just pointing out that they probably had no choice. Some undoubtedly went over the top though. #Champions
Trying to blame everything on the quality of Spurs Embarrassing ****s Hope all your clubs go under...every **** loses their job and your community suffers too..that’d be funny as ****.
You'll be turning into a NFL franchise before that happens bru. **** Dallas Cowboys, you're just a **** Dallas Cowboys
Don't know when it started and yeah I get they probably have to do it but it's still an embarrassing thing.
World we live in mate, the ones who think City v United in pre season is a big deal are the fans who it's all about now.
Embarrassing? Get over yourself! Sure, one of our players cried, and told the media that it felt great to “win our first trophy,” but I don’t see how that’s embarrassing.
