Morning Lads, Well i have to admit even i was not expecting that result yesterday 0-3 to a poor Brum side, anyway as i told you last week every team we play treats it as their cup final hence why it was a battle to beat Pompey, We are now 4th in the league which sets it up nicely for next week because if you did not know already if we beat you we go top so it will be a double whammy for you's,, I would like to know in your unblinkered opinion what you think the result will be? I think on present form it has to be 0-2 to the hammers, but this fixture doesn't go by form so i'm going for 1-1. All the best Brooking
It's a shame it's not mothers day as we do well against you then - In fact, as you haven't beaten us in the league for over 20 YEARS I can only see this going 1 way - 3-1 to the Lions. Good news for West Ham fans though - we have decided to put the bouncy castle out for you lot again please log in to view this image
the bloke on the bouncy castle is pulling the same face that my dog does when he scoots across the floor
I think were going to get something from this game, i just hope it don't kick off again and were to blame as i can see the FA coming down like a tone of bricks if it does. I am going 0-2 away win purely as our away performances look much better than our home. And i ant mocking Millwall here but our squad is way better, but then again this is the biggest derby in the country and if neither team can get up for this then football has really fallen flat on its face.
Interesting, been around 10 years longer and achieved about 10 times less. One trophy, is that it? This is *ILLWALL's Cup Final!!
Although derby games tend to not follow the stats we aren't playing well and haven't scored in 3 games. This just adds to the pressure to win at home too which I am not expecting in all honesty and would think a draw to be the best we can hope for. The transfer dealings left me underwhelmed over the summer and still no replacement for Moro to give us 20 goals a season.
This could kick start our season though Ulster. In our promotion season, before we met Huddersfield down the Den on 19th Sept, our league stats showed we won 1, drew 4 and lost 3, going into the game on a 3 game losing steak to Barnet in the cup, Bristol Rovers and the pikies, and we had not scored in those 3 games. We were 16th in the table and they were 4th. It was make or break really, as the top teams like Leeds, Norwich, Charlton and Huddersfield were running away with it. we won the game 3-1 and from their our season started to pick up. OK, we lost to Orient in the next fixture, but only lost twice more up until x-mas.
unfortuneately not as didnt have the readies at the time & when i did it had sold out that day!!!!! so not happy
