Been called up for the U19's, in his brief appearance a year or so ago he oozed class in a defensive mid-field position and was rated MoM., he reminded me very much of Yan M'Vila he was that good. Our youth team coach in an interview last week mentioned starting him in a variety of positions this season, including full back, trying to find out what his best position is. Obviously England rate him and if he gets a start, it will be interesting to see what position the England coach thinks is his best, my guess is that it will be mid field.

He played well for the U23s tonight and almost scored with a deflection but he was offside. He started at right back but seemed to get further up the pitch towards the end of the game. I still think he's more suited to midfield but competition for places will be tough to force his way into the first team. He's still young but maybe a loan would be more useful.

Should be in the squad at our level at his age if good enough, not shoe horned into a right back position , as said, see where England play him and how he does.

The competition in our midfield is pretty average, there's lots of them but all a bit mediocre...or am I missing something ?

There's no rush with Bali he's only 17. He looks promising but he's not so incredible that he's guaranteed to start for us or anyone else half decent so maybe a bit more time in the oven and send him out on loan in a year or two if he's progressing well.

He needs to get game time somewhere between now and January, any good be like a new signing, bring him back.

Use the Homphobic line to ban me Mr Moderator, wouldn't surprise me, anyone who disagrees with you isn't welcome on here.
What utter rubbish you spout. I dislike you not because of your disagreeing with me but due to the personal insults you’ve aimed at me. So stop spouting your lies. Not banning you as I don’t have reason to. Wouldn’t be upset if you stopped posting though

Good future but don't see Yann in him personally

Not yet Bri, not yet but the signs are there, not saying they are peas in a pod, but he looked like a very comfortable holding midfield player in his one appearance in the first team. Give him a chance, a substitute appearance would be a shot in the arm for him, and maybe just maybe for us.

I his brief appearances he appeared to have a lot of skill... needed to fill out a bit...which i suppose he has by now.

What's happening To his striker mate Kimpioka?

Kimpi was on the bench at Burnley. As for Mumba he needs game time which he's not getting with us so a loan deal might be the answer, but if he goes to League 2 he'll get a bigger kicking than our league are currently handing out to our players.
he's got to be handled carefully and I'm sure JR said more or less this in pre season.

I thought he would get a half hour against Burnley at least, reading the comments from the club its as if they don't know what's best for him, just read that Ethan Robson has gone out on loan again, they did this last year and we ran out of players back end of the season, the academy seems to get overlooked in favour of short term has beens, not what I was expecting from JR who errs too much on the side of caution imo.

Robson has only gone on loan til January so could be available second half of season if we need him.
