MOTD showed the greatest celebration of all time; Adebayor running to celebrate in from off the Arsenal fans in his Man City kit
Why? It's a fair debate. I'm not saying he is, just opened a discussion. We're playing the best football I've ever seen. He's breaking records all the time - 15 wins in a row. Highest point tally ever etc. there is more I just cba to look. Look at the state of this club when he walked in. Now we're European champions with back to back CL finals with a record league point tally too. He's never going to be on par with trophies as he won't stay for long enough, managers don't anymore.
I like Klopp. He's doing good at LFC One thing I do think though is that he has had both fortune and misfortune since arriving. Fortune that the likes of UTD and Chelsea are simply in freefall which imho has made life a little easier for him Misfortune (for the whole league) as City had completed their plan of putting in place everything for Peps arrival and they look invincible. Would have loved to see this LFC team go toe to toe against a good utd and Chelsea team. Games would have been epic
As someone who works in Liverpool I can confirm you boys cried rivers when Torres, Suarez, Coutinho moved on for a profit. Like most fans we're all businessmen and reality when it comes to other peoples clubs and fantasists when it comes to our own
Poch, schooled by one of our most inept managers. Tottenham still probably on the pitch now trying to score even with our boys in Newcastle. We have a good record against Spurs even when we're really terrible, games against them are simply no indication of how we're going to do this season, last time we got relegated we did the double over them including a 5-1 win (and that was the season they were challenging Leicester). For the return fixture I reckon we should play our U23's to rest the first team for the trickier game against Brighton the following week.
I'm happy to confirm that every Liverpool fan cried on these occasions. It was horrifying and hilarious in equal measure.
