12-45 came and and went and you had the last laugh.

Should we laugh, cry or open another beer ? Should we perhaps show empathy or sympathy, maybe disdain ? Any links to the subject matter ?
Or should your post be a p.m. ?
Giz a clue ?

Ye of little faith. What a day a day out, still not sank in yet what I (we) witnessed. One of the best sporting days out I've ever had. Up there with City winning at Wembley. If only I'd had the courage to follow my own predictions and put a tenner on an England win when the Aussies were still batting yesterday.

I owe the fella who tret me to the day out yesterday, bus trip, tickets etc one. I have him down for Middlesboro v City in November ? this year. I'm sure that one live up to all expectations and be as enjoyable and memorable as England beating the Aussies yesterday. Who will be our Ben Stokes do you think ?

Give it five years and you'll be one of the quarter of a million that were there that day.

I was also there in 2001 when Mark Butcher hit an unbeaten 175 to beat the Aussies on the last day chasing down 310. Mind you we were 3-0 down in the series by then.
