Heading home at mid day today.

Won't be rushing as I don't want to have to do football training, I want to get home unpack and relax as tomorrow is stress central; the golf club championships.

Golf course set up in the most borderline impossible way it can be. Only about a handful have any chance whatsoever of winning the thing but about 50 other gullible saps (like me) enter to put themselves through hell.

If I post a score and make the second round it means I miss Swansea v Brum so there's the added pressure and guilt of that.

Why do I bother? Gets me out of the house on a BH weekend, that's why.

BH Monday will we a long coast walk and a pub meal. Easily the best bit of the weekend.
Going to be a nice weekend weather wise as well, so looking forward to getting out to the coast myself for a wander. Only downside being it’ll likely be absolutely rammed.

Weather looks great. Will have to try to relax!

Looking forward to Monday though. About ten miles there and back with a meal in a seaside village pub, very nice.

Tomorrow, it'll be rugby final in the Cheese, straight up to the Grange for the 'Pool game and then home for tins and a good smoke. Last day of old management in the Cheese on Sunday. Drinking all the way <laugh>

Cricket in the sun, right now. A nice cold lager (or two) to go with it.

Football training sacked off, happy days.

**** football until minis cricket is over.

Day out in the capital tomorrow with the kids as they've booked a couple of things for the old girl and mines 30th wedding anniversary. I know we're going to the ice bar, which could be interesting as I'm planning on wearing shorts. Not to bothered about the old fella shrivelling up as it's redundant now, but I really hate having cold feet!!

You sure about shorts mate, i don't think they recommend it <laugh>

Yeah, I had a look on the website and it's saying don't as the temp is around -40. Just seems a shame that I will have to wear jeans / trousers all day for 40 minutes in the ice bar!

Take your jeans in a backpack or something, just slip them on when you get there.

Congratulations on your anniversary mate <bubbly>

Nice touch from your kids to sort out a few treats, enjoy your day fella, I’m sure they’ll make it memorable for you.

I'm the laziest bloke in the world when it comes to things like carrying stuff around all day. I'd end up getting the hump with them and donate them to some homeless bloke!!
Wear the shorts, **** it.

It’s not like jeans are going to make that much of a difference anyway. Just pray you don’t need a slash as you might not be able to find it <laugh>
